In one sense, you have a valid point. There is no such thing as true "objectivity" when it comes to scoring something. It's subject to bias and people would probably just provide a number rather than explain their position (it doesn't stop people from only saying "AO sucks, it doesn't exist," however). I don't think a wording trick is the best way to go about it, but that's just my opinion.

I previously wrote a substantive review on AO (you can find it in the reviews section of my profile), but in retrospect I marked it higher than I would have had I waited until now. I blame the euphoria of having just recently watched it lol. I'd probably rate the series "objectively" as either 79% or 80%, with a "subjective" score being 84%, maybe 85%. Interesting how the scores for AO deviate, usually being scored on MAL as a 6-7. What's even more fascinating is that I cite the same criticism as most do, e.g. lack of character development, too short, juggling too many themes, etc. I suppose the deviation is where I actually comprehend nearly all aspects of the plot and grasp a proper understanding of the themes where others have no idea, which probably affects their overall opinion of the show.

Nice practical way 2 make a "Hyouka" review, chico.

Quite a lot of G-Senjou no Maou fans around myanimelist as I've found out...

I have not yet seen dark knight rises so I couldn't tell you. Really should get around to doing so soon. Didn't even think it would have similarities to G-Senjou lol.

yea i agree. i can't imagine them doing this in continuous format.. that'd pretty much kill the pacing with kurugaya, kud, and mio's arcs.
it's sad seeing how many people are dropping little busters.. and i can almost not blame them for it.

Yea.. as long as we get a good refrain adaptation itll be fine.. too bad we gotta wait like a year before we get there

Well most of the vns people are going to give you are probably already in english so there isn't much out there. Some people however take the time to translate some of the stuff from japanese which these vn's turn out to be well... Better is the best way i can put it.

Well honestly if you were to ask everyone they would probably recommend you typical english visual novels which can be found just around everywhere. HOWEVER I decided to branch onto more japanese visual novels by reading moons. Chances are you don't want to go through the long and tidious process of reading moons SO there is a japanese visual novel completely translated on youtube. Its called Fortissimo exa akkord bsusvier.
