How I rate anime:

1. A show that makes me wish time travel was real just so that I could go back to a time before I watched it (I haven't watched one yet)
2. Felt like a waste of time; maybe some ironic enjoyment; still feel like there are worse things out there though
3. Extremely boring and/or hard to watch
4. Like 3, but has some good elements
5. This had some elements that made it good, and some elements that made it bad
6. In general, this was better than it was worse, but I will probably never watch it again or recommend it to anyone
7. This was pretty good, but there were some things that prevented it from getting a higher score
8. Solid show; I would have no problem watching this again or recommending this
9. Solid show with elements that made it stand out; many of these resonated with me and/or made me laugh a lot (or made me cry)
10. I really like this show; it has very few elements that didn't work or that I didn't like(or its pros far outweigh its cons); it forces me to sit down for a bit and think about what I just watched
