I don't know if you have read it, but you might like Legal Drug. It struck me as a xxxHOLiC prototype of sorts and has several similarities. Plus the two mains act kind of like Watanuki and Doumeki only with 100% more overt BL tones. There's not a lot of it but CLAMP is bringing it out of hiatus this fall.
Thought I'd just toss the idea out there since I know you like xxxHOLiC xD
It depends, if Ko rejects Ohana, that means he has develop, he has moved on with his life, but if he didn't, there no need to develop him further, because he has been already set-up as the sweet and good looking generic boy, while Ohana on the other side of the spectrum, she couldn't sort out her feelings till now, it was after all, the first confession in her life.
Here my recommendation that I give out to everyone!
You should read "Ichigo 100%", its enticing harem romance series, there are 3 heroines, each are likable w/ different personalities. The 2 great things about this series is that the protagonist has a actual goal, other than chasing girls and its unpredictiable, who he would fall for. "Ichigo 100" was published in 2002 (ended 2005) w/ "Jump Magazine", which is only concentrated around mindless battle manga's, so it did really well to last that long! There also an anime adaptation, but I only recommend it after reading the series, the anime freshed out the story for comedy and ecchi focus, plus its an open ending (didn't even reach half way of the manga). If you decide to read the series, let me know your personal opinion and your favorite heroine!
Yay! I've been wanting to read it but, as you say, I get frustrated when series take too long to publish so I usually try to wait until after they are done. (Figures that most of series I'm currently following are monthly ones OTL). It's good to hear that it has enough drama to keep it interesting but doesn't get too out of hand.
I've read Girlfriends! I loved it. Probably the best yuri series I've read even though it's sorta slow paced. It works and just feels realistic, which I like. Strawberry Shake Sweet is another yuri series I enjoyed. Most of it is gag comedy but it actually gets pretty touching towards the end.
