I'm an IT guy from Germany, currently finishing my computer science degree. I started watching anime and manga as a teen and quickly took a liking in the darker/seinen stuff but also found some enjoyable fantasy and slice of life shows along the way.
What I like most about shows is when some deeper thoughts are embedded within the story.
What I hate most about shows is when they blatantly dumben down their characters actions in order to produce more exiting conflicts (looking at you, Shingeki no Kyojin).

Anyway, I was gonna commend your taste until I saw your Umineko ratings. Absolutely blasphemous, smh haha. I'm curious though, what didn't you like about it? I think I wouldn't have appreciated it as well if I had read the manga instead of reading the VN.
