Been watching anime since 2017, and it looks like I'm still going strong. I take breaks from it from time to time, which is normal, but I consider the medium to be quite meaningful to me.

I've also spent a lot of my time on RateYourMusic, to which I owe a lot in terms of building my personality. I love music, although I've got a little burned out recently, and now I'd simply rather listen to what I know I like than spend hours on end researching new things. I also play games sometimes, watch movies, read books, you know, the usual stuff everyone does once in a while. I also play electric guitar, which is a good thing to brag about, lmao. My recent obsession has been Geoguessr and just geography in general, and I find it extremely fun.

I'm trying to fight off my completionist side which has started to get on my nerves recently, so I've begun to value my time more, and I try not to engage in trash just for the sake of "collecting" and expanding my list. I still have fun doing it, though, and the decision has been made probably because of me having a lot on my mind as of late. Nevertheless, I've decided to throw all of the shorter OVAs and specials not necessarily related to the story and that are not movies in the "dropped" section (since I never drop shows, so it's just been empty) in order to keep my list nice and clean.

In 2023 I switched to the 1-5 rating system (more specifically - 2, 4, 6, 8, 10) after many years of using the default one. I started to find it overwhelming because of the insane amount of data and abstract notions I had to go through in my head to rank everything as truthfully to my feelings as possible.

I briefly share my thoughts about all series I watch/read in the "tags" section, although the limited space there can be really frustrating sometimes. I consider it a memoir of some sort, with the various descriptions stylistically differing from each other in many ways depending on the time and mood they were written in.
