You're positive but you're not taking into consideration simple correlations like influence from entertainment and purpose of the customer to engage into such entertainment. I can assure you that it's not needed to be violent to enjoy violent video games and neither can you be influenced by video games to become violent. Pornography also had similar studies, and again, it has been proven wrong that pornography influences people to commit rape or that people engage into rape pornography because they are rapists or want to rape.
It's the same thing here. Sexuality isn't so easy to define, but by comparison, I can easily say that someone might fantasize about sucking dick but might as well abhor it in reality.
