See that's the thing here – if you get too tied up in the larger problems you may miss the small plesantries.
Maybe not the same thing but one of the phrases that I absolutely hate with the entire strength of my gut is "why are you complaining? There are people that suffer more somewhere". I fuckin' despise that. It's like because there's someone who suffers more you are allowed to belittle someone else's pain? "Ohhh you lost a finger? Don't bitch you little pussy, there's people in africa that lost their arm". So what's next then? Because people somewhere are starving I should not be allowed to eat as well?
Yeah I know pretty out there but I've seen this shit so much recently that it riled me again. Even tho' it shouldn't. Emotions man – who needs them right?
Well I dropped it after the scene where the girl enjoys getting slapped on the street by her boyfriend. There aren't really many things that I consider out-of-line but this shit was a deal breaker for me.
Now I may be wrong here but I believe that the gist of it is that the situation itself is pushing certain behaviour. So – because they are politicians they are shit and not the other way around. I'm sure that's not the whole deal but I think it plays a larger role. Firstly becaue the environment makes you act a certain way and secondly because if you play nice and by-the-rules – the ones that don't will crush you. I don't actually believe a revolution would even be a permanent solution. History shows that after such events things sometimes got better (and sometimes they got even worse) only to worsen with time anyways. This is The Epitomy Of Being Fucked. We are fucked.
Yep – same here. They are willing to break international laws and go against EU to the point that the EU was threatening to kick our ountry out if they don't stop. They weren't even covert about this – they literally broke direct orders laughing them in the face.
When the EU was creating a comission to investigate some of their shit they (my government that is) immediately went on air to announce they will create their own comission to see if the EU's comission's findings were legit. And there were still people who bought it. How?
The most recet deal was in regards to judges who had THEIR VERDICTS OVERTURNED BY POLITICIANS. When a judge said "no, fuck you" they put him in house arrest, they harassed his family even placed a couple of them in actual jail. So the EU stepped in – no fuckin' wonder they did – and got told to fuck off. Literally. That's what they did. Okay they used different words but it was basically it. Everytime man... everytime I think they can't surprise me anymore – they do it.
I wouldn't blame you for that. I'm in the same bag.
I only watched the anime (Nana) and I gotta say that I don't enjoy being gutpunched. Like reading anything Seo puts out. You can read it sure but why if you can just jump out through the window while having your balls tied to the door knob. Same feeling but takes less time. Or black bullet. Fuck me the shit that hapens in the novels is just... just... I don't even know man. The creator must have found a lot of enjoyment ripping wings off of butterflies when he was a kid
Also – still haven't finished Jujutsu Kaisen. I got like 1 episode left to watch but most stories (for the arc at leat) are tied up decently and I just know there's gonna be some cliffhangers in the last episode. So I don't watch it.
It's kinda like getting hyped for games I think? If you hype yourself you will ALLWAYS end up dissapointed because there is no way any game could ever live up to everything you imagine. Like with Cyberpunk 2077. It was overhyped to shit. And was it buggy as hell on release and uplayable on the older generation of consoles (like it was a surprise to anyone)? Yes. Was it still a good game? I say yes, the 99% of the internet says no. I gotta admit it does make me salty. If EA/Ubisoft/ACtivision pulled something like that it would barely register but since it was CPDR they were getting flak for it for months after release. Ok I'm not naive I undestand how this works – The Evil Trio got people used to them fucking up over and over so it doesn't sting as much precisely because the expectations aren't very high. I'm still not a fan of those double standards tho'.
That being said – I'm still pretty fuckin' hyped for Tales of Arise. Haven't played a Tales in a couple years and I miss it. And teh gameplay looks sweer. Either I will get severely dissapointed or I will put on my rose-tinted glasses and just ride the fun wave. Which is what I'm hoping to do. This year was not fun. It wasn't fun because everything I do constantly bores me, not many decent games were released, the situation at work is getting worse and worse and oh yeah – I almost fuckin' died from sheer pain and was taken out of comission for 3 months and had to have a surgery on my ass while having to wear a goddamn piece of wire sticking out of my colon and the end result is that I can never go to a swimming pool because my ass is leaking.
Ok ok ok – rant over. For now.
Not sure if I mentioned (I probably have but me being a forgetful ass and my brain still having traces of morphine in it makes me unsure) but I had a simmilair situation in Italy once. I think they need to meet their quotas but why can't they be humans about it – I dunno. I've meet plenty of assholes – unfortunate but at this point I employ a careful skepticism.
If they actually fined you because you didn't have your student ID (something I had to show a total number of zero times) they were being really fucking dumb. But I heard that it actually matters quite a lot which city you are in. In my city – they never check for that. When a girlfriend came to visit me from a different city it even confused her that they didn't want to see her student ID 'cuz where she's from it's a must.
I think I could still pass for a student tho'. I mean yes I'm 32 and I got a beard like a goldenageofpiracy sailor but they STILL sometimes ask me for ID when buying beer.
But then again they mistook me for a girl like twice so yeah... I dunno.
I still haven't visited it – and I really want to. Just never had the opportunity really even tho' it's only like 120 kilometers from where I live. I could literally take a train and be there in 2 hours... which is exactly what I'm going to do now. Well not literally now since I'm at work but soon. Real soon.
I... never actually thought about this but all pavements are like that. Maybe leftover from the occupation where stuff like that was common (while asphalt was much more expensive) and people even were required to lay down the pavement themselves in front of their houses. Tho' even today this is the style they go for so I'm not actually sure. I would assume it is still cheaper.
For me anything above 30 is a death sentence. I handle higher temps really bad. Right now the temp is around 20-25 which is fine and I doubt it will go any higher than that for the remainder of the year. I don't think I would survive at your place.
I actually like taking photos quite a lot – I mean I'm not good at it and most of them are literally just random photos I take while walking around the city but I still somehow really enjoy it. So if you are ever partcularily bored, here you go (with the exception of like 3 photos all of them were made within my city):

Yeah I think that was exactly the point – if all that some man care about is their legacy... well – they just made his legacy for him.
I may want the total and complete extermination but I'm not cruel. I would kill you quick. Or I can put you in a penthouse while I burn the ground around it. You can take your pick. I'm nice like that.
Oh man this took a long time to reply to. I started typing like three times and every time something interrupted and I had to start over. September is coming which means the part of the year that I actually like is comming too. I can stop being angry and cursing left and right and start smiling again. So let's smile for fuck's sake.
I don't think you are overthinking it in my opinion. I feel that our brain just likes to ground itself. Ok this comparison is probably shit but whatever – if we don't sleep enough we need to catch up eventually and spend more time to sleep it off. I think it works the same for regrets or unrealised wishes, wants and whatnots. We want balance. And given that changing the past isn't possible (yet) we never get to satisfy that craving which may shape our preferences and what we like to do/watch. That's how I see it at least. That makes me a megolamaniac? Shit.
Quite. In more recent years/months I've become a lot more angry about ours as well. Like I always knew they did slimy things but nowadays I'm actually angry. Their goal being politicians isn't to change things – it's to keep their jobs at any and every cost. Even if it's at the cost of the people that chose them. It's a sick situation but nothing short of a revolution will change that. If someone actually wanted to make changes to that he would be crushed from within. But even said revolution wouldn't ammount to much – it's not like it never happened in the past right? We might just about be fucked.
Actually recently I tend to feel a bit how do you put it... on edge maybe? When watching a tense show (or rather a tense moment in a show) and expecting something bad to happen (or actually witnessing something bad happening) I can't just wait to see next week. I have to. I HAVE TO. Go and look for a spoiler from manga/vn/ln/whatever to see what happenes later and if, for example, that character really dies or maybe returns later. I dunno why really. I used to look in amazement when my ex would continuosly spoil herself watching shows saying she doesn't like to wait/cliffhangers and feeling uneasy about what was to happen to the characters. I thought to myself – you're ruining the show. But now... I dunno I kinda get it. I'm in that situation right now with Tensei Shitara Slime.
It's like despite me knowing how the story may go (and as you say seeing that before many times) I still want it to go a way that makes me comfortable. Akame Ga Kill was probably one of those shows that completely fucked up my brain. Quite literally for years to come I would look at every character of every show thinking "yep, they're gonna die". And it would only happen in like 2% of cases. But whenever it did I was reafirmed. All the more weird is that I realise that I do it and yet – can't do nothin' about it. It may be boring or played but I don't want characters to die. Not the ones I like at least – even if it serves the plot well. I have oficially gone soft. Well ok some characters I want to see ripped apart with horses while being submerged in acid so maybe I'm not completely lost.
I've only been to Warsaw like 3 or 4 times myself. I am... well – not a fan of the city. What do you mean by "correctly"? If you are under 18 you get cheaper tickets, if you are over 18 but under 25 I think and you are a student at an university you still get cheaper tickets provided you show your university document. Most times they don't really check for that unless someone looks a lot older. That's in my city at least but I rarely use public transit nowadays and I always buy tickets with my phone.
I had a similair situation in Greece many years back – we weren't entirely sure about the tickets so we were asking locals what to do – I thought it was weird the way they do things because they told us to get on the bus and drive to a final stop and buy our tickets there – I mean that's so inconvenient but ok – then a ticket officer came on and he... well – he escorted us to said stop so we could buy our tickets, I only feel that he wished he had a gun. Or ten.
The city is brand new? Founded in 13th century ^_^
It's quite common everywhere maybe not on the main roads but other than that – not enough parking space is what causes it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1I26S3XF7SVnWpyn6zleQvkLtfUDbsqqo/view?usp=sharing
That's a photo I took yesterday on my way from work. There's a law that says they can't take more than a certain ammount of space when parking on sidewalks but I don't remember how much it was – probably around 50% of the sidewalk. Of course not everyone cares and they take more and since it's not a particularly heavy crime so it's rarely punished. City guard sometimes does fine for that if it's in a particularly bad spot but what can I say – you get used to it. In the city center area if you park like that (on the side streets on the main ones) you have to pay a small fee – something like 2-3 euros/hour. It's free on the weekends tho'.
Too many cars man. Way too many cars. When they built a high rise building in the past they usually didn't care for parking space and people have to park somewhere. Newer living blocks take that into account.
This is where I live
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1I2k_vmPgU9aSDQwjW7InQM5mhI4HY1hb/view?usp=sharing
There are buildings around and parking spots in the middle, every building also has underground parking but that was more expensive. Now imagine all those parking spots gone – that's why people park on sidewalks.
I was gonna write about it but since there's an article on the wiki, check this out https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hujowa_G%C3%B3rka
People were getting a bit too antsy in my country so they went back to talking about abortion in the media. Sad thing is most people will eat this replacement topic up. I'm just tired man. So very tired.
All you need to do is give me power. I'll take care of the rest. All the power. All of it. And then a little bit more.
Isn't it the same about race politics? I mean it's ok for a black guy to use the N word (the only reason I don't use it here is because i'm not sure if MAL has a bot that would delete my post or something, it's just a word and it only has as much power as a person gives it but most get really touchy so whatever) but a white guy? It doesn't happen a lot in my country since I only ever met a handful of black people so I'm not sure if I'm even capable of talking about it. Then again I always thought that hating someone because his skin has a different color was stupid. I have opinion about people for what they do not who they are.
And while I'm on the topic of cliche's, I'm not sure if I told you about that before - there is a jRPG called Trails of Cold Steel and in the very beginning of said game we have just that cliche. Characters fall down a trapdoor and a certain girl lands boobs first on a guys face. Course he gets slapped. BUT. They actually did the right thing here. Most times when they do it it's just for some stupid slapstick "humour" but here that wasn't the case because we can see in a couple following scenes that she feels bad about it and eventually apologizes to the guy for overreacting. In this case this cliche is used to establish that that girl can be impulsive and quick to act but in the end understands what her actions ultimately do and isn't above rectifying them if they end up being wrong. I mean if you're gonna use a cliche - that's how you do it.
What cities did you visit? I live in one of the larger cities called Lodz. Or Łódź if you include polish letters. Not that much to see here unless you are interested in jews or textiles. Yeah - that's a sentence.
I forgot to mention - they raised the tax for everything containing sugar by roughly 30% Because we have to keep the citizens healthy and not because we just wasted 400 bilion on untested vaccines. I mean - if a guy who is the president of the company that sold you the vaccines suddenly becomes the advisor to the minister of health... what exactly are we supposed to think?
Thank fuck I never intended to have children - the government would make that decision for me anyways.
Heh, I get that - I mean that shit always annoyed me. Along with other cliche's like the upskirt ladder. And it's not even that the thing itself is so annoying it's just that everyone and their mother do that and it gets so tirying.
Not gonna last much longer. In my country at least - people are already starting to riot. Most buisnesess are ignoring the governments restrictions and the funnies thing is that they are winning in court. Police oficers can't give people a ticket because they are illegal and officers can face jailtime if they do. It's a complete and utter shitshow. Not to mention the ruling party deleted certain laws because they accidentaly filed a new law under the same number as the old one invalidating it. Every day brings new ridiculousness.
I could give you a list of 20 amazing VN's (even though I haven't played most of them – I know someone who is... let's say a fan of VN's) but trust me – even a single one can easily rip a week or two out of your life.
My brain just went into the "I'm trying to think of a joke but I can only find really bad ones so I'm gonna shut up" mode :<
LoL DuDe (check out the style xD) I've played through the entire trilogy 3 times already – the third one is the best when it comes to story and characters and there is DLC called "Citadel" (I usually HATE FUCKIN DLC AAA HATE BURN DIE... uhm yeah so I am not fond of DLC's but in this case – just wow, this DLC has the best quest in the entire trilogy and character moments there transcend the term "masterpiece" – it's like the second DLC I bought in my entire life but I consider it worthy) that you should check out too.
I actually marathoned the entire series near the end of last year and I had as much fun as I had the first time playing years ago. I think my favourite thing to do was trying to talk with everyone I can and ask then about absolutely everything. And the conversation with Prothean A.I. in the first game? Sweer. There is a DLC where you can get a real Prothean as a party member and there is a questline following his origins.
And just for the record – if you can actually find a RPG that I have not played (bar some weird japanese weird sex flash rpg games made in rpgmaker mind you) – I'm gonna buy you a beer ^_^
In human time – that depends, since we still know of ancient philosophers or explorers for example. It's 0.00001% of the population sure so it may not really be relevant enough to make the point. And in the galactic scale – we are like that grand of sand on the beach... on a planet made entirely of sand.
I sometimes think I'm a woman. I mean mentally – like how they change during their... "days" I too sometimes have these mood swings. But hey – at least my dick doesn't bleed.
Still – those people are deluded. I mean look – if you have no proof of something then you either resign or you keep believing thinking that the proof is out there but you can't find it yet. But those religious nutjobs say – "yeah, we have no proof – and that's another proof because free will and bullshit" – they treat the lack of proof like it's the part of their mindology (I know there is no such word – but now it is) and it reinforces their violent delusions. Not to mention – this mindset has sunk into the "mind of society". Dunno how about at your end but here there is somewhat of a saying that goes "well, you have to believe in something" – and it's not a religious quote.
Uh – I'm more zealous lately it seems but it still cracks me the fuck up how could a priest say that gay is worse than a pedophile since children seduce priests into molesting them – come the fuck on how sick is that.
I am but I haven't seen the movie yet so I can't really comment. What I think is that given the response – it was made mostly for wow fans since almost everyone of my ingame friends really liked the movie. And honestly – the lore of the game is so huge that there is no way that they could capture someone completely green to it in a 2-hour movie. They spend the last decade... no fuck that – it's been over 2 decades since the first warcraft game and 12 years since Vanilla wow released – it's a staggering ammount of lore. And I would know since I was known as "The Loremaster" in my old guild. I love the game's lore so I know a lot – I think I could easily make a full-year learning course based on the knowledge of the lore I have – and it goes to show how expansive the story really is.
And really – the game looks very cartoony, allmost like a game for children... oh my fuckin' god you could not be more wrong. If you actually are interested in the lore and you read quests and you research this then quite honestly this game is a fuckin' horror. I'm not even kidding here – creepy, scary shit is happening all the time.
Examples:
There is a dungeon called Deadmines that you visit on low-level – the enemies you fight there are members of Stonemason guild that were exiled from the Stormwind City after they caused a riot (in which the queen had been killed by accident due to being hit with a rock) but they only caused this riot because they rebuild the entire city and the oficials refused to pay them for their work. So they were exiled and their leader at the time of the game was VanCleef. So you get a quest to go and kill him and bring his head as proof. So that's what you do – you go in with your party, you slaughter these guys and you kill VanCleef, you cut his head off and you leave... only to realize that his 10 year old daughter was watching the entire time. Quite the family time – she would grow up to be a leader of bandits working in secret and planning to overthrow the government (since multiple expansions were released while you level up it's kind of like years are passing while you gain levels as quests on lower level locations are kind of like hapenning in the past). And I mean it would be so-so just hearing about it but realizing that you were the one that cut of a father's head in front of her daughter – that does make you feel a little... like a fuckin' ashole.
And we also got Thadius – he was sort of a golem created by the Lich King and you find him in a huge raid zone called Naxrammas. You don't realize it at first but if you turn the sound up as you make your way through the raid you start to hear in the distance screams and cries of women and children as they beg "stop, please stop", "help me, save me", "please noooo" – and when you reach the boss Thaddius you find out that he was created by sewing together the flesh of children and women and by killing this boss you can stop the screams.
And those aren't even the worst... The game is full of dark shit and it sometimes really gives me the chills. I'm expecting a lot of this to come with the next expansion as well after all – it's LEGION TIME. Just 2 more weeks <3
As for the free copies – I think it was only in Europe or maybe even in chosen countries in europe since I'm quite sure they did not give out free copies in the america. You could see the influx of newbies in the game though – some dungeons were a real pain since people didn't know what to do at all – but I don'mind, I like helping new guys. You wouldn't guess that by looking at how I usually act huh?
Hahaha – I never thought of that, I somehow doubt I could write a book with it though... But then again – sky is the limit right?
I try not to but sometimes I have 2 games (or even 3) started and I just split my time but I don't really like doing that since it makes the games kind of drag on and for example Shadow Hearts From the New World took me 4 months to finish – not because it's such a long game but because I kept playing different games inbetween. This year I have beaten 24 games so far. I'm not counting older games that I replay for the x'th time. Right now I'm playing Digimon Stories Cyber Sleuth and I preordered Deus Ex Manking Divided, Trails of Cold Steel 2 and God Eater 1 and 2. And there are still like 6 other games that I want to buy this year, and 3 that I already missed since I didn't have enough cash so I'm gonna have to catch up too. And the beginning of the next year is also looking very busy...
Dude – it almost sounded like you wanted to break up with me xD Please darling – I don't want no divorce xD
I have a friend who I;ve known for 15 years and we sometimes don't talk for half a year – and we're still friends. And we're not making a fuss if one or the other is "gone" for a longer while. There's enough of this bullshit with girls – why would we do it between guys too?
Or "if this gets 1000 likes, children in africa will get water" – plain old crap.
Annihilate them regardles of colateral damage – you starting to sound more and more like me it seems. I always said that – if I was the leader of the world the first thing I'd do would be to slaughter half of it's population. Some innocents would die – but far less than just leaving it alone like they are now. And the glorious argument "if you kill them, you will become just like them" – oh great, so while this red motherfucker is raping my daughter I should ask him if he's not thirsty? Yeah, thanks for advice.
Well yeah – it was a strategical move to release it just before the election since humans are for the most part very impulsive and if they released it half a year earlier then the emotions would settle down and it wouldn't have nearly as much of an effect. Everything is calculated – I just find it sad that people keep falling for that. And seriously – if people really thought that there is no plotting involved in government's daily actions – I almost envy their naivete.
Yeah that's so true – although I did not check the data regarding as to who voted how. But I do agree with your standing – they seem to think that the reason for their problems is the EU yet they refuse to look for shit in their own backyard first. And "the older the wiser" seems to only work in anime.
"People can always be made to obey the leaders. It's easy. The only thing that you have to do is convince them that they are being attacked and you condemnt pacifists for lack of patriotism and endgangering the country. This works in every country."
And this is also true today. Why I say today? It's a quote by Hermann Goering. I think that says enough.
Oh way worse than that – at least Satan is only a religious icon (well kind of) but in reality it would be more real.
That's why the money system is wrong. We should build robots that will fill all positions that nobody wants to take so that everyone can do what they want. So I ask you – why is that not happening? I'll tell you – it's a conspiracy. That's right – the government wants us to work and they want us to suffer because they can control us. I know it's true. I KNOW IT!
Well at least you read it – skipping it would make me cry a little inside.
Yeah I bet if I did investigate someday (even what I wrote myself) I could find 2 different people xD
But hey – every 7 years (I'm not sure it that's exactly 7 yaers but something like that) you replace every single cell in your body and if you compare you right now and you 7 years ago – you both have different memories, you know different things, and you plan different things. So in essence – in 7 years we completely change both physically and mentally. Every 7 years we become a different person and the only thing in common is our name and D.O.B. - but that could just be a coincindence. So... WHO AM I?!
Because it's in our nature to try and preserve the species – and sometimes it means you want to keep other potential partners or protectors alive and sometimes that you need to wipe out the competition – I don't think it is much more complicated than that.
Nah – it's just a game they're playing. With the citizen's as pawns. You already know my genocidal opinion. But hey – at least they didn't send it off to space.
Check this out then - http://www.wykop.pl/link/3183233/muzulmanska-15-latka-w-szwecji-opowiada-o-przesladowaniu-jej-w-szwecji/
I'm warning you though – don't watch it with anything sharp in range.
"Make the rebels go to jail for some made up crimes" – oh like that's not happening now? xD
Funny? Shit, so you're not gonna help me keep them under the lid? Fuckers almost got out last time, I need some additional security.
Yeah it sure is a problem – but it's like the most important thing in life isn't it? The ability to prioritize.
Yeah I feel ya – I get the same feeling too unfortunately. But it only really applies to mediocre series or games. There is a game called Trails of Cold Steel where they had the most cliche'd of the cliche's ever – and yet it was done in such a way that it wasn't a drag, it wasn't annoying – I actually felt like it's the first time that it has been done correctly. And that put things in a different perspective for me. Because if they could pull this off – it should mean that all cliches could potentially be handled in a proper way and they would lose the negative aspects of being a cliche.
And then there are games or anime or tv series or whatever that I simply watch and love the fuck out of and I just don't see nor care about anything in the way because the awesomeness factor just overshadows everything else – and I love those the most.
It doesn't have to be that way. You say it's nice to share the burden but wouldn't there also be people at work that this would apply to? It's rare to find a job that's actually enjoyable to you and you love doing it since most of us have to endure rather than enjoy. But it ain't impossible – I know people that do what they love. As the saying goes – if you love what you do for a living then you don't have to work a single day in your life. And by the way – you think you aren't paying any taxes right now? Come on man :D Besides – my university life was very short and I've been working since I was 20 I believe (so about 7 years right now) but just because you work it doesn't mean you have to become a societal drone. You can still enjoy your life (party life if need be too – as have I) – don't look at people who just wake up every morning to go to work then they get home and sleep. That's like a false stereotype – and if you fall into this mindset it may be difficult to get out.
Well that kind of depends which school is it. Elementary, middle or high. Medium school is the worst possible environment since kids are between 13 and 15 years old which is the worst possible age to deal with a kid. But in high school most typically grow up a little (still depends on an individual since I'm still 13 years old mentally) – hell I knew a couple that started planning their future life together when they were 14 years old. By the time they were in the last class of high school (so 17-18 y' old) they already had a shared bank account. But I don't really remember high school as being even close to the terror that middle school was. And in high school I think kids actually are old enough to finally get the fuck over the "cool cuz' I'm a rebel" stage and start actually respecting the teachers. I know there were a few that I have – and there were a few teachers that were literally respected and liked by the entire school. You just have to find your place – and yes, I do know how bland that sounds.
Holy shiet I can't even address this Plastic Memories entry since I don't even remember the arguments I was making. From what I think I remember – they went berserk because their circuts degenerated or something? It's not that big of a stretch is it? Milennium Bug? Year 2042 problem? We are constantly reminded that we don't plan ahead enough and we eventually fuck up.
The biggest irony would be when they "saved" such an android and it would slaughter them all. Fun.
Exactly – and by the time you realize that the foundation's stability may not be enough – it's already too late. Rewriting everything from scratch is just too costly – if they were to do it they may as well make a new game from the beginning.
It's like Windows. And what is Windows? A patch for DOS.
I don't mind backing down but I don't think I even remember what the argument was about. That's uh... pretty anticlimactic. Sorry.
It has to – I mean come on, the manga doesn't even start before the death – it's like a prologue to the story. If they don't do it then what's the point of even making an adaptation.
Yeah... I feel ya. The last time I was rewatching it I stopped like 5 or 6 episodes before the end cuz' I just kept thinking about that shiet xD
But sometimes you can create something entirely new and MINDBLOWING. I have a thing related to mass effect in mind but I can't really tell you if you haven't played the third one.
But in case you do in the future I'll give you a little hint. After you finish the game and watch the ending – go to youtube and type "indoctrination theory". There are a couple of those but look for the longest video since it will explain the most – it should be around 1 hour I believe.
Fair enough – I have things like that too. I mean – I would fight you to the death if you said Kaze no Stigma isn't the best anime ever made.
Nostalgia isn't really fair by itself but to be honest – it doesn't really have to. It's a personal thing, and if it's special to one individual – isn't it even better? To find joy somewhere nobody ever did before? Well maybe that's too pompous but you know what I mean.
Hell – that's the reason I replay games every year. I find it a pain since I don't have enough time and there are so many games I haven't played yet that it sometimes feels like I'm wasting my precious time by playing something over again but at the same time I like it so why should I wonder about that, so that's why I do it and now try to read this entire sentence on one breath as I have.
In my case though it's smell that causes the strongest... flashbacks. If I can smell burning leaves I instantly see a picture in front of me :D
That is a weird thing – some things are ruined when you go back to them after a while but some are actually even better because the nostalgia effect adds to the enjoyment. It's completely random though and I don't know what does it depend on. What I know is every single time I decide to go back and rewatch Chrome Shelled Regios, Kaze no Stigma, Darker than Black or play Gothic, Sudeki, Mana Khemia – I'm going to absolutely love it.
Maybe rather that getting down about it you should rather think like – yeah I was in some pretty serious shit back then... BUT! I have since kicked it's ass and I'm on the top of my game now.
(I realize kicking shit's ass makes no sense but you know – defeating adversities and overcoming odds – that sorta thing).
Well... it's not really like I'm staying awake in front of my PC waiting for your reply so I don't mind if you take longer as long as you will eventually write back.
Reducing the length means we just stop and drop certain topics and I guess this is and idea but should we just randomly choose topics to drop?
I do comment whenever I feel like doing so. I sat down last week and I wrote for an hour and I decided that I will finish today so I say down for another hour to do just that.
But I suppose the best answer I will receive will come in a rather simple form – when I see when you reply next :P
But hey – only 3700 words this time.
I read about that - it's really a weird thing to do but I approve of something like that to waiting a week for another episode after a cliffhanger. I hope I will get to it as soon as I can since I did hear it's pretty awesome but I want to do things in order since I'm normally a chaotic person.
Well then in this case I'm solid as a rock - my priorities don't ever change. I'm a hedonist through and through xD
I do plan to watch it at some point but I wanted to go backwards and there are still series from 2 seasons ago that I haven't seen yet I plan to. I've been playing so many games that I didn't really have much time to watch anime. I was also watching lots of TV series too - I watched all seasons of Castle, I watched 6 seasons of Doctor Who and there were a couple more like the Sarah Connor chronicles. Yeah I just can't find the proper golden middle for me. Should I call it the divison of labour? ^^ And there is still less time since I picked up cooking on a more serious side recently.
Well yeah I guess – I'm trying to put things into perspective even more right now. You can sometimes learn about yourself too.
I platinumed Fallout 4 by now – it took me around a week I think. But I gotta say that this game lacked something. I had fun and I played over 100 hours and I did pretty much everything you could do there but I dunno – I feel like I wanted something more maybe? Okay fuck me I'm just moody.
You know – I didn't really like Witcher 2. I never even finished it. But still – Witcher 3 is easily a 2015 game of the year.
I keep buying more and more games but I don't have the time to play them all. Last week I ordered Sword Art Online Lost Song and I will probably only get to play it in like 6 months. But there are a lot of really good games I want to play like right now. Trails of Cold Steel and Trails in The Sky second chapter, then there is Persona 5 comign this year and Final Fantasy XV and I'm hyped for that mainly because it may be a first main game that will be to my liking. Other than that I mostly only enjoyed the spin-offs.
Well 300 kb/s is kind of laughable I gotta admit especially when I was downloading a patch for Blade & Soul it was goin around 7-8 mb/s. I got so used to my speed that it could never go back now. But I still remember downloading lineage 2 (around 2 gigs) for a full day. Right now it would take like 4 minutes.
Oh come on you're only at 350 now, my friend is at over 2000 and he still finds new stuff to watch. It's true that he pretty much watches almost everything when a new season comes out. I'm trying to catch up now since I had a longer break in watching. But believe me – if you seriously go into manga then you will not run out. Ever. You will however be frustrated because a lot of long running series aren't finished and are being prolonged indefinetly or you have to wait for 3 months for another chapter. I only mention those that would interest me of course.
If you want the best experience however I think you should start getting into Visual Novels – their quality is usually above and beyond anything else (manga, anime, etc.) and they have a lot more content not to mention most times you get to choose a path. The only reason I'm not into them right now is that I wouldn't have enough timeto enjoy them properly.
And sometimes both.
Dude – come on. Don't tell me that I ooze xD
I discovered a ton of games only recently (by recently I mean the last 3 years) which is way past the consoles prime time. You can still go back, you can go further so and still feel pretty good about it. I play ps2 games at least as often (if not more) as PS3 or PS4 games. And I still have a few titles for the first PS and the PsP and Vita and yeah...
Hmmmm okay – I am a little interested honestly but I still don't think I should be going for it right now. I'm not in a mood for any manga so forcing it would be couterproductive.
I did? I don't even remember saying that :D
Yes – very yes. Uterrly very yes. So yes. This is so much yes. Filthy humanz. Deathz to filthy humanz. Yessssssssss...
Well we're all going to die eventually and everything we do will eventually be forgotten. Maybe not in the next thousand years but maybe in a milion. I do think life itself is just a galactic mutation, a very random thing that happened to happen and that there is no higher meaning or purpose to it. I don't really want to leave any sign as you would say but I totally understand if people feel that way. Hell – I felt that way some time ago. But it's just biology – it comes from our fundamental need of reproduction and sustaining the race and whatnot. I stopped caring about that already.
Unless someone is directly interfering with me I never judge and I would like not to be judged in return. A pity that rarely happens since so many people have their own visions and they have an obsesive need to share and force them upon others... buuuuut wait a second... I have a feeling I already said something like that.
The fuck xD I love this man. Going by that you can also say that God has HIV and he is bisexual. Can't wait to use that argument at some point.
Oh no – my PC is a piece of my body. It is... no... He is – the extension of my soul.
Well yeah – I mean what is the purpose of teaching philosophy on Economics? I get why psychology could be a thing but philosophy? Seriously? But you now I bet for a lot of people just plain maths is a hurdle they cannot jump over.
I concur – I rarely if ever play online unless it's a moba or an MMO. Strategies or shooters just... I guess I just burned out. So if anything I only play it for the story too. And even with MMOs – like world of warcraft I am actually more interested in lore (and I'm pretty fuckin' knowledgable about that lore) than for example doin' raids. Every chance I get in that game I try to expand my knowledge about the world, setting, characters etc. And I really like it. Of course I have to take breaks now and then or else I would get bored eventually but I come back to the game at least twice a year for about a month or two.
You wanna be scared? Play fatal frame xD Holy shit or better – Corpse Party. The atmospheer of fear and dread and horror in Corpse Party is such that I still get an ocasional shiver when I think about this game.
I get that – I have tons of useless trivia from many different places. Did you know that earth does not always circle the sun? Or do you know why there are seasons on our planet? Or why are we a little shorter in the evening than we are in the morning? I got tons of this shit. Does this help? Not really – since nobody really gives a damn. But It's fun for me to learn about this stuff so I don't mind if it won't be useful at all. As for "life progression" I think I'm pretty much done in this matter. I doubt I will ever move from the position I'm at right now. But that's fine with me – I like that place.
Well then I'm in a better position since I don't believe games or anime will sidetrack me. After all – those are kinda my goal to begin with. I want to have fun watching or playing and I enjoy watching stories of characters of said pieces unfold in front of me. I have a friend who is just like that and when we sink into the world of some game we are just gone. We do not exist for the outer world. He is playing Trails of Cold Steel right now – from what I've seen around 12 hours a day since thursday – and that is NOT the most hardcore session of sittings we had. So yeah – you could say we live for this shit. I bet it would sound pathethic for a lot of people but who cares.
I suppose you could draw a conclusion like that but at the same time eating is one of my most favourite(est) thing to do.
I'm a mess – I don't really mind but then they annoy me if there's too much of 'em. Well sometimes I just say fuck it and go AWOL. And then people get mad. And then I have some peace and quiet. Fortunately I know a few people who don't really mind or care when I disappear so I can go back after a while and all is fine. I like those kind of people.
Well – I can't really see taking a shit as egoism :D Yeah yeah I'm just fuckin' around. But pretty much yes – you can see the entire life this way. But isn't that how a pessimist would view the world? I mean you just change the point of view and the same thing looks different. I don't really want to elaborate on that as I'm sure you know what I mean.
I agree – that's why I say the experiments done during the war on prisoners were a good thing from our pespective because it advanced medicine by a lot. You won't find many who will agree with this. More like they will look at me as some sort of monster. I really believe prisoners/criminals/death row inmates/whatever should be subject to scientific experimentation. At least there would be some sort of gain from their existence. But no – we have to pay for their fuckin dinner every day.
I think the biggest problem is that people when judging or punishing ONLY look at the act in question. I mean yes – I never heard about someone being sent to a death row for involuntary manslaughter but I heard of people being sentenced to life for this. What in the actual fuck?
Involuntary manslaughter should never be punished. Unless of course it was a drunk driver because those sometimes are branded as involuntary when they kill someone. And that's bullshit. You drive drunk – you are planning to kill someone. That's just it.
Not to mention in Poland if someone breaks into your apartment and you break his nose he can legally sue you for assault. This isn't even funny anymore. At least in the states you can shoot the guy in the eyes but here you have to be careful not to hit the assailant too hard. Okay that's enough – I gotta change the topic 'cuz I feel I get frustrated. Every time I think about this it's like a small volcano erupting inside me sooooo... time to cool off.
After seeing what's happening in germany I don't even know anymore. This shit during new years? And the transparents? What in the fuck... I mean it's totally possible that it was just blown out of proportions by the media (it would not be a first...) but at least some of that has to be true.
I mean if we look at this from a general perspective – one guy was born to a family of milionaires and he is set for life while the other was born as a 7th child in africa and he has no hands. Life is not fair from the second the woman gets pregnant. I refuse to have to deal with even more shit. Why do they have to bring their problems to me? I didn't ask for this. And we can't even legaly shoot them... what a bummer man – I mean if I could at least get some target practice I would be fine with it...
I don't really think it's up to the citizens. Or the soldiers for that matter. Wars aren't fought by soldiers. They are fought by politicians. Just look at what Putin is doing. Peace right?
I think it comes from our own human nature. Humans always fought with one another. They always killed. Even know in the times of relative peace we still watch tv or play games in which you kill or you watch people get killed. It's in our blood. Not saying I would want a war of course.
There was this little indie game I played on the PS4 called Valiant Hearts (maybe I mentioned it before) and there you control a couple of characters during either the first or the second world war (I don't remember which) and one of the characters is a german soldier while the other is a french soldier. Thing is – the german one is the husband of the frenchmans daughter. They were put on the other sides of the baricade when the war started (because of course they would force all man of able age into the army) and we can see it from both perspectives.
And going back yet again – world war II and wehrmaht. They were just regular soldiers, fighting for their country. They had a misguided lunatic leader sure but it's not up to a soldier to determin that. They have to follow orders. And while you may sometimes think that a soldier should disobey an order that is against his own personal laws – if every soldier would question every order, then this army would not even be able to win against a kindergarden.
Well yes – that's the thing. If we just kill on a whim then we're no different and we might just as well have complete anarchy. But sentencing repeatead offenders in such a way that they can leave early for behaving well is just fuckin' nuts. What happens next? They get out and they do it again. Rinse and repeat.
It's not – but when for example a guy killed my sister I should have the right to kill him. As in – I want to be holding the gun. Some say revenge solves nothing – they just haven't tasted it yet.
I don't thing just "not being a cancer for others" will make everyone keep their fingers off of you. Simply because those particular cancers can just bother people for no reason. I might – I think I'm plenty capable – not to mention some people seem like they are asking me to.
And like 2 parahraphs ago I wrote about Valiant Hearts – I guess that wasn't a first ^_^
The people who run the "justice system" are the same people that abuse it. So there's no way it can be fixed. The only way I suppose would be some sort of uprising. But people have no balls to do that. Some even support this corruption.
My country wanted to change the law in such a way that it was unlawful for the entire EU so the Venice Comitee was asked to investigate. And even before they fuckin' started (I'm writing this on 09.03.2016 and they start the debate on 11.03.2016) the media in my fucking country already prepare people to ignore their opinion. They all know this was unlawful as fuck and they know what the Comitee will say so they want to discredit it in the eyes of the populace saying things like "we don't thing their opinion will be meritoric" – and how would they fuckin' know before it even started? Yeah – those god damn rotten pieces of shits just make me boil over and over again. That's why I don't ever watch TV – it's better if this shits at least doesn't reach my ears. It's not like I could do anything to change it anyway.
When you reach a point where the ruling party decides the outcome of the vote there is not much you can do except for something extreme. And that's what we need. But yeah, you're probably right – they're just not worth it. I'm not sure about all the "drama" in Poland since I've been trying to distance myself from it but there were a few named cases here – by "few" I mean like a few per quartal. One guy (pretty famous on our political scene regardless) even killed himself. Well at least that's what they said – his "suicide" was oh-so-convinient. But sometimes I feel like just putting them all in a huge jug full of boiling oil and listen to their screams – that would be ma lulaby.
That's one way of looking at it. I just don't want to get pissed off even more than I am right now and if I keep participating that's going to be the endgame here.
You know what? I would rather have 1 million and not have to work in my life than have 100 billion and have to work for it. I'm as lazy as they come and I only work because I don't have any other choice (and I'm not lucky or dumb enough to try the lottery). So in essence – I don't really care about my future that much. If only I have a place to sleep and internet access I couldn't be happier. So I suppose I'm one of those undeservnig sort in a way.
Of course they didn't put it this way. Washing hands was called "proper sanitation enviromental bonus" or something like that but it basicaly came down to washing your hands after taking a dump. Creativity wins.
Well the rules are almost the same in every instalment – there are some differences but the base isn't changing so after playing like 10 games in the series it kind of stuck. I can't fuckin' wait for Persona 5 man. I just can't wait. This year also has quite a few good releases like the last one. The last was a blast but this one is not gonna go far behind. And my mom has her 50th birthday this year so we wanted to buy something special for her with my sis so I'm gonna have to save up cash for that meaning I won't even be able to buy all the games I want – unless I sell a kidney or whatnot. Not that it makes any sense since I wouldn't have the time to finish all those games anyway. It's weird but in some instances just having a game on your shelf even if I won't play it for a year is something I want. I have 2 games lying on my shelf for I believe around 14-15 months without taking them out of the packaging because (explanation time incoming!):
The whole series has like 20 entires but they are divided usually by 3 meaning that they release 3 games in the same setting, sometimes same characters, sometimes friends or family of characters from previous instalments and then after the trilogy (usualy) is over they create another set of 3 games with the same setting. So the only thing connecting all games in the series are some item names and mechanics of gameplay.
So I have 2 games from the Dusk Trilogy and I finished 3 games from Arland trilogy but I haven't finished all games from Iris series (which is PS2 era) so I want to first finish this one before goint into the rest. But before I do that I have to finish the last game from the Shadow Hearts series (which I'm playing right now) and then Xenosaga chapter 3. And by then I'm pretty sure at least 2 or 3 games will release that will be a must-play for me
Yeah not to mention we are human beings after all (at least I think so) so our opinions might even change. It would be ridiculous to argue myself and disagree with my own statements xD But it might happen.
Maybe anticipation of regret? I feel like if you felt regret once you will know what it feels like and you would want to avoid it? Maybe baybe? But yeah – in general it's more dificult to stop the chain of killing than to start one I feel.
Well a lot of times you would things like "how did he get elected, I don't know anyone who would vote for him" – but that's why you are around a specific group of people. That's one thing. But sending your VP because you have no balls and watching it from afar is another thing entirely. I would think you are telling me the plot to a sitcom. That's unreal man. The problem is – once they got their hands it's hard to take it from their grasp.
The Venice Comitee thing blew up as well. Of course the decision was not favorable for our government (since they wanted to shit on all the european laws it's no wonder) so of course they decided to create a comitee of inquiry to look into this decision – I'm laughing but I'm not having fun.
That's what I don't get – for example sometimes it's like even if a woman is abused she will not run and what's more she will defend the relation she is in and would act with hostility to those trying to help. Maybe it's because she wants to validate it all. If she were to admit that she is abused and miserable than that would mean all that time she spent so far was a complete waste – and people don't want to admit that they are a fuckin' mess. As you said – a coping mechanism. Stupid as all hell though.
No no no – erasing wastes resources. Utilized – that's a whole lot better.
You create an A.I. bug that will cause the judgmenet day and I will start working on a zombie virus.
Well of course – someone has to cook.
The polish are veeeery good at that. Maybe I've said it before (I probably did but since I'm not sure and I'm sure as hell not gonna to through everything I wrote in the past year I'll just write it again) – our previous president when visiting Japan did something our polish media decided was "outrageous" and "unbecoming of a president" – and there was a huge shitstorm brewing here. The thing is – the Japanese didn't even realize that he did something bad nor did it bother them. Same thing. Our media just created the situation themselves just to stir things up and people – of course – caught on.
In my utopia I wouldn't be killing the SJW's. I would dip them in a very low solution of sulforic acid after flaying them – giving them just enough painkillers so that they wouldn't die immediately from nerve shock and I would be standing over their "bathtubs" smilling just slightly. It could probably even give me an erection.
That's not very reassuring. And no – I hate doing that, but sometimes it doesn't go my way :(
I wouldn't want to ruin my enjoyment even if it's bringing me money. I mean – what's the point of money if you can't have fun at all? Isn't this why we get money in the first place? I mean the sane people – basic needs and then... fuck, just the Maslow's Pyramid says it all.
And I can't really go back right now. I do notice weakspots in games a lot more than I used to. A few years back I probably would say that Fallout 4 was a masterpiece. But now – the dialogue system and the lack of skills causing me to have a 50% hit change with the best sniper rifle in the game and 15 Perception – that's bullshit. Doesn't mean I can't enjoy it – I had a ton of fun with the game. But I can objectively say what I belive was fucked up.
Yeah they do get like 2,5 months of free time during the year but on the flip side they can't really choose when to take a few days off – it's set in stone. Some of them however only work like 4 hours a day so... I dunno. I guess it sucks but all I can say is – again – it depends.
You know – maybe it's not just that. Maybe they started out as good but having to deal with kids just corrupted them. Holy shit if I had to teach those fuckers right now (middle school let's say) I would really explode. Colubmine would be nothin'.
"
I'll try the manga anyway to figure out if I like it or not since I don't think they'll adapt much more into anime. Maybe I'll be disappointed but who's to know beforehand?"
Damn – I don't even know what you are reffering here anymore :D
Automatic shutdown :D You seen Blade Runner? Androids there started killing people because they knew they are running out of time and they wanted to find out how much more "life" remains for them. As for the convincing process – I would think it's more about the law. You know social justice warriors already so is it so hard to believe that they could make the law demand such measures? As for that 81920 hours – our time in unix is also running out. Why don't we just fix all of that in a jiffy? Let's take world of warcraft as an example – the game is out for like 12 years and it received thousands of patches and updates as well as big expansions. There are some things in the code that were originally programmed 12 years ago – ale they are so deep and other processes depend on them that they couldn't be changed without rewriting everything from scratch – and that can't be done because the cost would be too high.
Also – it's not like I'm trying to find a solution on purpose, it's just what comes to my mind when I watch it. Whether or not the writers meant for it to be this way – I have no idea. But it really does not matter. If I can create my own explanation for myself that would work and I can believe in it – in the end it's me who's having fun so it's a win – win.
Yeah I can't fuckin' wait for the second season of SnS, I'm just about to start watching second season of Akagami – if only I get into a mood I'll be marathoning the previous season.
It's true that the ending should have been seen coming but it still was so damn abrupt. It's like – I'm walking down a path for 6 hours and suddenly I got hit by a lightning bolt. Like wtf? I'm pretty sure he was just told be the editor to finish the story in 1-2 chapters because otherwise it absolutely doesn't make a sense to end it like that.
Well Fuuka has a special place in my heart – kind of. It's I think the first manga I was reading while it was ongoing and I was reading it week-by-week and man it's a shame you already read that spoiler because I remember how it felt back then – it wasn't revealed what happened to the character and the ending of a chapter was left on a cliffhanger so I was part of a huge discussion of what is going to happen – 90% of people said that it's gonna be memory loss. But no – Fuck It – DIE BITCH. That was balsy.
Oh man – I just switched to nostalgia mode :D I do that a lot recently – which is weird since I'm not that damn old yet. I'm like 26... or 27. Shit.. wait. Oh yes – 27 this year. Man wtf? I just felt old for some reason xD
I think a lot of it is in your current mood. I find that sometimes I will marathon a series I didn't particularly like all that much and sometimes the one that I like will take me like a month to finish. I don't let that bother me though.
Well for me it's the scene where Ryuji is in the "santa" costume and is chearing Taiga on christmass and she kicks him out to go to Minori and then she chases after him – this is a complete breakdown for me :D Also earlier on – the scene where Taiga saves him from drowning in the school pool.
I liked the "running away" part – what I didn't like is Taigas dissapearance. And yeah I know it's in the tone of the series but she shouldn't just flip out on him in the end.
Lolz – I like Ami from the start, I liked it when she finally snapped and stopped pretending to be who she isn't. In fact some of her character quirks are very alike me.
Agreed on that – I hate when characters can't just be fuckin' straight for once. But yeah after seeing Taiga cry for Ryuji after christmass scene it was pretty much sealed so I don't blame her too much.
Yes – I loved when things weren't going according to stereotype at times. I mean – when Kitamure dyed his hair and was like "fuck y'aal meeen I dun' giev a shieeat" and then the cat fight with the student council president xD Oh hell that was awesome.
You know what's the best thing when you start getting into psychology? It's that you often spot changes in people that they haven't noticed themselves or when it comes to fiction sometimes even the writers made a shift in a character without realizing what they did. And those moment are ridiculous. But also very amusing ^_^ One other thing is that you sometimes create a situation like that only in your head because you are on a rush – and when you realize it it's like "oh shiet, what the fuck have I created? XD".
Oh shit man – that's deep :D But I do get where you are coming from. Visions, sounds, smells – they can all activate our sleeping memories and sometimes the feelings associated with those. That's why I love the smell of mirabelle plum so much – it reminds me of happy moments from my childhood. So of course I also love drinking mirabelle plum beer.
And I love the smell of barbecue and fireplace/burning wood or leaves – those things remind me of autumn which is by far my favourite season.
You probably figured it out yourself by now but I'm going to say it anyways – you should never ever rewatch this series ever again. Best it remain the way it is now. Sometimes even if you have really fond memories of something it's better to let it remain like that rather than dig it up and find out that it's not what you remeber it was. And since your feelings about the series are so strong I think you owe it to yourself to let it stay on a positive note within you.
There are quite a lot of series that I really like. But there is even a smaller ammount that have another place in my heart. Those series – when I think back on them – I not only remember the series itself but I also remember the situation and the feelings I had while watching them – series like Toradora, Myself;Yourself, Spice & Wolf, Darker than Black, Index/Railgun. Some games have that too – Mana Khemia, Ar Tonelico, Tales of Xillia/Graces, Sudeki. Those don't really have to be my top favorite things (they often are though) but I will still look back at them with a smile. The thing is – I probably will not go back to playing/watching them because I wouldn't want to overwrite those memories about the series with new ones. I sometimes break that rule but I'm not sure if that's a good thing to do in the end.
I think you are wrong. A period of life that has to end? Says who? You make your own rules. Putting a black cross on something that made you who you are today is like denying your own being. You can forget the means but don't forget the message.
Yeeeaaaah... Exactly why I don't ever reply while drunk anymore. Well I try not to talk to anyone when I'm drunk unless they are more drunk than I am anyways.
This reply took me by far the most time ever. But I finally got it done. So now that I'm done I'm gonna go and visit the dentist since it's time for my weekly, wednesday appointmend <3
The game length is between 20 and 50 minutes most times. When I see how people play nowadays it makes me depressed. Man - I suck so hard. When you see a guy solo carry a game with 30 kills you are just like: "huh". It's like you're a doll with no emotions that's how resigned I feel.
Well the thing is experiments like that may be highly unethical, ugly and monstrous but they are useful for the rest since sometimes only observing how a sickness develops "live" can help you understand how to cure it.
So again we go back to the most base of questions: "will you sacrifice 10 men to save 100"?
I wouldn't mind - so long as the last one next to me is some busty model :D
Doctor Who - a series about a time traveler and "I'll watch it when the time arrives" - ironic :D
I don't get headaches or eye burns - guess I'm just used to it by now. But It's true that I do get bored easily. Even when I'm watching a movie I often pause it to watch something else or play a game just to return to it 2 or 3 hours later. Or sometimes a week later.
Yeah - but I do understand why they did it. And thank the gods I will never have kids for they would be corrupt as fuck.
I thought I'm gonna have a good progress this week but in the end I only wrote half a page T_T
Well that's just why I pretty much never play alone anymore - at least with other people we can just fuck around and have fun even if someone is trying to ruin things for us. Yesterday I got cancer from one of the games though. Literally - that was just so draining I felt like shooting myself in the head.
I think my braid isn't stupid enough (yet) to comprehend such an insane level of idiocy.
There is another problem though - the quote is in english as translating it would make it kind of lose its flair but not many people here can actually speak english. So it might be a lost cause. Still worth it though.
There's no doctor like that? Are you sure? Because I have some photos you know - secret japanese clinic during the world war, telling people they are curing them while infecting them with ebola and rage and watching how it develops. Be careful what you wish for because I've seen things... Oh man I've seen things... Yeah - things. I like things.
I'll be the time travel guy then. I'll go back in time to give you the program so you can end humanity faster. Dunno if that's how it should work but I'll take it.
You may want to start with the rebooted series that started in I think 2005 since a lot of episodes from the earlier seasons (liek the `70's) where lost and are impossible to find since they physically don't exist anymore anywhere. And since 2005 they made it so that you don't really have to know any backstory.
Well I was actually meant spending this much time with a single game not spending this much time gaming since on a saturday or sunday I spend like 14 hours gaming/watching shit on a regular basis so it's not something new. It's not like it tires me - I like doing that and I don't have anything else to do. And even if I had I probably wouldn't go for it since that's just the way I am.
To think when I was in hogh school I could only use the PC during the weekends.
Hoho I hope that this monster shall do what it was created for then - destroy humankind.
And I am just spontaneous.
I am about 50% done with the big comment - that's like the slowest I ever had.
No no no no no. You are wrong. I will fix that sentence for you mate:
"That kind of people shouldn't even be allowed to interact with others and they should be shot in the back of the dead"
There you go. No problemo.
Just yesterday we had a guy that lost us a game (he was in our team of course) on purpose because he didn't like the champion one of us picked. So he just trolled the entire game. Thankfuly I don't really give a shit about winning in this game anymore and I just play for fun with my friends so it doesn't bother me if I lose but people like that make me want to sign the petition to register every person using the internet like a fuckin' animal. Or a mutant. An X-men mutant. That works too.
Wait what? They recommend it after it fucks their system? And they don't do it to troll? I want to trust you but I think my brain is incapable of believing such idiocy could be possible.
I love this quote. Oh man I love it so much. I'm gonna pint it and put it on the wall in my office. Shit I'm gonna do it right now.
Okay - I did it. It's right above my desk for all who enter to see.
It does. But you know you can also bleed out with time. Yet noonse seems to make the connection :D
Well - you're gonna become a crayzeh scientisto one day and create time travel so I suppose you are all of the above.
Speaking of time travel - you ever watched Doctor Who?
I did plan on watching some seasonal anime but I just can't find the proper time... Now I have 3 TV shows I'm watching and last week I almost exclusively played Skyrim (115 hours in 11 days, now that's just fuckin insane, I had to take 2 days off because of the infection after having my tooth extracted and I spent like 4 days straight playing it for about 15 hours a day... it's extreme even for me).
Anyways - I tried catching up on last seasons and I did watch a few series (like 6 or 7 I think) over the past few weeks but I have since stopped and I don't know when I will be able to pick my slack up :D
You know what's the worst part for me? I try to correct someone and then it turns out I'm the one who is wrong because the rules were changed...
That's very true. I still play it after 6 years (maybe it's close to 7 by now...) but I pretty much only play with a group of friends. Playing alone is like trying to dive alone and with no safety rope into a hole full of shit. That's dangerous.
See? I'm an optimist through and through.
Like that "thing" in the web saying that system32 is a virus and you should delete it. And I know some people actually did it T_T
Yup - that's exactly what I'm thinking. I only hope the online won't fuck it up.
In a normal situation I don't mind answering any question no matter how peculiar or personal it is. In this case however I don't even know what to do myself. Anyways I do hope I can regain my composure by the end of the month :D
I'm afraid I can't relate since I don't even know how much work passing one od them is :P But 6 is a big number for that so I can more or less imagine.
It's actually very high on my PTW priority but especialy because it is so I want it to finish airing before jumping in.
We have a lot of things people say in Polish that are incorrect. But the thing is - a few of those were deemed correct by the authorities because so many people were making them (mistakes) that it was a better solution to make them correct rather than educate people. I'm still not sure what to think of that.
"Even I am not your family, But I will still guard on you" - honestly the second part seems almost sexual in nature xD
Which is extra annoying since I really like the art - too bad it had to be butchered with the text.
I'm an optimist. I think it's gonna be a gamma ray burst and we will all burst :D
Yeah I suppose. With my previous PC I never actually turned it off. I just put it in sleep mode everytime - not the healthiest of things to do ^^
I kind of feel like playing Skyrim right now. I'd rather they made another Elder Scrolls but after the online one... Oh I dunno.
Well truth be told I'm in a really peculiar state right now due to a certain person so I'm not sure how much focus I will be able to get right now. We shall see but I think this time the wait may be quite long on my part :D
Consonants - that's a new word for me :D It perplexes me honestly when I see "native speakers" or so they claim and yet... Yeah...
But people in Poland are particularly bad and whenever I play an online game I and I see people using engrish I'm pretty sure they're polish... Well to be perfectly honest a lot of them are from Italy or Greece too, maybe that's just me but that's pretty much 99%
There is a site league of legends related - it's a polish site though the content there is in english. Over 80% of the "fanbase" is polish though.
Now prepare some tissues because your eyes will bleed - read this comic (I've been looking for it for 30 minutes...) http://elohell.net/gallery/374940/annie-s-family
that english man...
My first priority is to sleep. My second priority is to eat. My third priority is to game. My fourth priority is to take over the world. So yeah - as long as I have games the world should be safe.
I just turn it on when I come home and before I'm done with my "rounds" like setting the dishwasher, grabbing a snack or whatever - it's on. It takes a total of about 20-30 seconds to boot I think?
And hooking it to a TV via a HDMI cable equals the ultimate experience ^_^
Right - now it's my turn to make you wait for a response :D
Wouldn't it be awesome though? You pause the time and punch the guy in the balls then you cut his head off and rape his girl in front of his eyes and then... wait... what was I talking about?
That's a thought - if only I wasn't so damn lazy. But looking at how some of our contractors in the company write to us... Sometimes I literally cann't understand what is it that they have written and one guy only sends e-mails with capslock on. I think it may rub off on me.
You have some reasons or is it just "fuck it 'cuz fuck it"? It's a bit funny that sometimes even though we acknowledge something we still don't accept it. I get that sometimes too.
I've also seen people install OS on a RAMdisk and then it boots insanely fast but you probably need like a 32 or 64 RAM to have space to cut the ramdisk from. It's an interesting thought. I wonder what it will be when they start using DNA to store information or when graphene is more common and researched.
Pretty much.
Especially when you take into account how much the graphics can improve by just using higher resolutions and texture filtering - some PS3 games look comparatively.
Take your time mate, take your time xD
