I just wanted to say your comment on Nagi no Asukara hit the nail on the head. I watched it 4 years ago and I've tried to rewatch it twice but it still didn't sink into me. I started to think maybe I was the one with trashy taste and poor analysis comprehension. Hence, thanks to you I've given up on the idea of rewatching it again this year. Although I can't deny maybe I was being biased with the show.
No idea why there are so many people giving Nagi ASu Kara a good score, let alone adding it to their favourites. Thanks for expressing your opinion through a review.
It's funny how so many people claim to agree with your review inspite of all of the faulty reasoning behind it even though I also found that show incredibly dull, just goes to show that generally people dont care about reasoning just conclusions confirmation bias much.
@Recynon how is the glamorization of dramas and romances in highschool any different from to how it written for adults in terms of glamorization. When do any of these highschool dramas portray highschool as the end all be all for life, they portray highschool dramas as the end all for just their highschool life and generally showcase a concern and preparation for a future outside of highschool, that's a constant for all highschool dramas, it's a transition from teenagers to learn to become more independent adults hell even high school musical does this. There is always a future to look forward for all of these characters at the end of all these highschool dramas which have their ending centred around the end of highschool.
YESSS It seemed like I was the only one who thought that high school dramas and romances are ridiculously glamorized. Maybe it's normal for teenagers in high school to think that high school is the end all be all, but still come ooonnn.
Hi, If the "dislike" button was still here for reviews I would have just used that, but since it's removed i felt compelled to give some feedback regarding your review of Nagi no Asukara.
Even though i really tried, I really have no idea where you're coming from and the review itself basically made me lose all hope in humanity.
Your Nagi no Asukara review hit the nail on the head. Such an overrated anime with so many visible flaws and I'm glad you weren't afraid to point them out.
On your nagi no asukara review,
may be because you live in a mono-ethnic society so you are so ignorant but even small differences (like religion) can make people cut each others' throat, even if their culture, standard of living, face everything is same. So don't say why people fight, they just need a small spark to do so.
