Hello, thank you for your kind comment. However, I have to disagree with two things you said. First: the truth about witch hunts can be known, one just has to be willing to look for it. Second: Accurate knowledge is frightfully important for people today as an effective antidote to those willing to disregard the truth for convenient political narratives.

As for Ikuhara's intent. You may be right, I just question the consistency of his intent. But ultimately isn't this why we pay attention to a story, to see where it ends up? I am not yet convinced that there is a vastly deeper meaning to this show, so far there are many discrepancies. However this doesn't mean that if these discrepancies are resolved into a powerful message I would be disappointed. Quite the opposite actually. However it is up to Ikuhara to create this message, he should not take the easy way out.
