Aight 👌🏻 Not my intention to press you, just felt like giving at least a bit context instead of "you have to watch this or that because masterpiece, trust me bro", I'm not a fan of this kind of recommending.

I would put Haikyuu and Kuroko in the same tier, just for different reasons. Haikyuu is more about overcoming struggles as a team with pretty hilarious chemistry between the characters. Team spirit is present in Kuroko too, but it can also be a one man rule of cool kind of series with lots of hype over the top action. Considering how often Haikyuu get's recommended or it's popularity in general (which is also evident by looking at the poll results) I thought I recommend some of the more neglected series which are just as great.

Saw your post in that sports anime thread. Hajime no Ippo and Kuroko no Basket are pretty great options. The former especially since DBZ is one of your favorites and it got a similar grittiness.
