I simply wanted to leave a comment about the review. I don't think Ushio to Tora is the best anime ever and I also don't think you need to think it is. I said you were edgy because you were being too cynical about aspects that weren't as bad you stated. I don't know what reason you have to act as snob as you do with each reply, but you need to chill out a bit.

About the show's villain, I'm pretty sure he was done that way on purpose, since he was, after all, sort of the embodiment of evil in the series. At the end, Hakumen himself states how much he hates being born evil from the moment he was born. I don't think many characters are complex aside from Tora but there are many enjoyable interactions in the show. Ushio + Main girl had plenty of romantic development, Mayuko + Tora's friendship. Hyou's last struggle for revenge was nice too.

There are memorable moments in many "generic" shounen, and as you said before, the way a show executes these tropes is what makes a difference. IMO the say way Haikyuu stands as a great sports show, as you also said before, Ushio & Tora does friendship and romance in a way that we don't see much of in recent years.

More like, I wondered why you didn't bother to review the 2nd season after taking your time to see it even though you said you hated it. About Haikyuu and Diebuster, I meant that they too have typical shounen aspects and that's a fact. Doesn't make them less good by any means, but it's still part of them, and that goes especially for Diebuster. Saying Ushio to Tora had "completely forgetable OST" and "lackluster characters" is just you being edgy, the second season has a good score of 8.07 and receives praise for both its characters(especially Tora) and its songs(especially the second opening theme).

Also you don't need to get salty and call me retarded, lol. I'm not retarded for not checking your anime list, I just commented after reading your S1 review and seeing your favorites. But if you want to run your mouth like a kid, I guess you're free to do so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh, that's been like that for a long while, ever since I watched Wolf Children which I want to say was at least over a year ago.

Vash hasn't been over thrown, simply his username wasn't available to take on MAL and there is surprisingly not too much fan content for Trigun (For something decently popular that I'd thought there would be more, but I guess since it hasn't aged as well as Bebop it sorta makes sense), so went one down to Homura (which I already had the MAL Style, and tons of cool fanart and stuff with her).
