Hello, I love that you have a Interest Stack about Ancient Egypt. You might want to add:
* Tutankhamun
* Saika no Kami wa Negawanai

No, I haven't, I'll have to check that out. Sounds like it would be interesting.
DreamWindow Feb 6, 10:40 AM
Oh nice, I'll have to consider it. My Switch has been collecting dust as of late. Hopefully it would get a steam release. It would suck if they censored it though. I never like to see that.
DreamWindow Jan 18, 12:41 PM
Yeah it's pretty unusual for that to happen. But it makes sense considering Persona has wide appeal nowadays. I still remember back in the early 2010s where it was still pretty niche. Ah, that's unfortunate. I'll have to check it out, thanks!

I don't have a crunchyroll subscription but I have my methods! I've heard it's best to start with the VNs anyway.

Yeah that makes sense. Persona's basically it's own thing now, they don't even use the SMT branding anymore. I watched a video once about the recommended order of Fate, I'd have to find that again. Where is the best way to find them nowadays?

Sad. I miss shiny hunting. The last time I got really into it was when I was when I found my shiny Duskull in platinum. Oh man, I couldn't imagine listening to it all day every day lol. I always hear that retail workers have it rough this time of year. I pretty much always leave my Christmas shopping until the last minute. Doesn't help that I'm broke this year.
DreamWindow Nov 25, 2023 3:20 PM
Yeah, it's a great concept. I've only played the Persona games, but it's too my understanding that the SMT shares a lot of the same summons. I really need to get into Fate. I've heard nothing but good things.

My first legendary in any of the games was Giratina, which is a Ghost/Dragon. That might be why I like the types so much. Nice, I like all those Pokemon. Pumpkaboo is adorable. I had a pretty quiet Halloween, too. Nothing super exciting. I usually pick up a big thing of candy, but didn't really bother this year. Now Christmas is already around the corner.

I tend to like the "baby's first RPG" kind of game more than the standard JRPG. Paper Mario, Earthbound, that sort of thing. But I've played some more "core" RPGs as well, like Persona and Final Fantasy. I've just never beat them. Yeah It's been a while for me, too. I used to replay that game all the time. There was a fan made HD texture project that I want to try out.

Nice! Ghost Pokemon are my favourite type, next to dragons. What have you caught so far? And how was your Halloween?

Nice, I've always wanted to check out some legendary JRPG classics, but I never finish them. I've labelled it the "JRPG Curse" that I have lol.

Hey whatever works! I played a bit of Pokemon Go, but that was about it. I've seen people playing it in recent memory, and I just saw someone playing it at a con I went to, so it still seems to be thriving. At least where I am. Maybe I should try that lol. I get exercise from my job, but it would be good to get out of my own volition.
DreamWindow Aug 16, 2023 4:16 PM
Yeah same. I discovered many of my favorite games by doing that. Heroes is a lot of fun, I have some nostalgia for it, so I always come back too it. This is the first time I've actually got anywhere in it!

I'll definitely have to give it a shot! I'm sure it would be up my alley. Fresh air is good. I tend to get pretty pale so I need to get out more. Thankfully this summer I have some fun things to keep me moving!

My eyesight is pretty bad too. I get it from my mother, who is blind as a bat lol. Some games are fine to play from a distance, while others have really small text. Oh ok, they kind of have that retro vibe to them. I've played a bit of Morrowind, they seem to have a similar vibe from the screenshots I see! I think my favourite fantasy art style is Heroes of Might and Magic II. I like the pixel art in that game a lot. I think I've actually heard of that Berserk game, since it came up on a search while I was emulating Dreamcast survival horror games.

I should really get into Berserk. Yeah there's something satisfying about collecting for one of your favourite series! I've been slowly buying up the Yu-Gi-Oh volumes. I don't read outside much, unless I go to the library. I find it's a lot easier to focus when I have a dedicated spot for reading.

Steam is just really convenient. I use my TV as a monitor with big picture mode sometimes, when I feel like just sitting in bed. I have a laptop though so I can play it without it if I want too. What kind of games? My mind immediately went to Oblivion. Oh... is that where you got the name from? Lol.

True, I've mostly been buying regular sized volumes lately, but those Berserk ones are huge. I have been tempted a couple of times, but I am compromising on space as it is lol. I think my problem with digital books is that there is too many applications for a phone, or a computer that compete for it. So it's very easy to get distracted, at least for me. I mean I could read something on my computer... but I could also play video games on it lol.
DreamWindow Jun 16, 2023 11:48 AM
Fair, It definitely is appealing to have physical media. I still pick up older games in the case, from time to time. But I have gotten kind of complacent with digital now that I have been using steam a lot more.

I prefer physical manga. I don't like reading on a screen.
DreamWindow May 26, 2023 8:29 AM
My only major complaint with the original was the sluggish movement, so I was happy that they rectified it in the remake. I came really close to platinum but some of the items for leveling up all of the weapons are really rare, so I haven't bother with it for a while.

Oh I know, it's really sad to open a case and not see anything inside it. Or worse just one or two pages. I think Switch games are better physical. Whenever I play a game on PS4, even if it's physical, it still needs to install a full games worth of data, pretty much, so it's not even worth it half the time.
DreamWindow May 7, 2023 4:47 PM
Yeah I'm not sure. I'm sure it will be a success regardless. He has reached the auteur status thanks to Automata, I think. Replicant is a great improvement to the original game. It keeps mostly everything else intact, for better or for worse (late game farming is a bitch lol). Definitely recommended.

Lol that's what happened to me when I first started using Steam. Then I realized "ok, if I'm ever going to take on the backlog, I need to limit myself". So now I try to limit myself to one new game, for every two games that I have beaten. Personally, though, I think Steam is just so much more convenient. I was a puritan, when it came to digital console releases, just a few years ago, but now I've chilled out in that respect.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
