Isn't it like a social media for cosplayers?

I'm the biggest Love Live fag you can find around, like, really, I've almost bought only Love Live merch at the convention I've been to. But I can't help but notice that EVERYONE is into Love Live, like, right now, even if the anime have been out for quite some time now. Maybe I'm noticing it because I've been into it for not too long?? But really, for example, in the anime community I'm into on Facebook, once I started talking about Love Live, every got into it, at first I thought it was because of me but it seems everyone secretely loved it and was just waiting for someone to say it aloud lol.

OH MY, THAT! I've seen it live, and you should have seen me and my friend's face, and every one's, really, it was so beautiful and awesomely done and WOW, how did they not win this one.

I've heard about Pile coming to a convention from a Filipino friend, indeed! I didn't know about ladybeard though. Like, about Ladybeard's existence lol. I've seen pictures, but didn't know the name xD

I LOVE RWBY! It sounds awesome omg! At the convention I went to, I've been watching the European Cosplay Gathering's final (with Reika in the jury!!!!!) and there was a duo from Chuunibyou. They did a mock scene with parodies of movies, series and such, and it was totally awesome xD

KyoAni've been teasing us with false yuri in Chuunibyou, too. Damn you KyoAni!
This anime was nicely done. But the ending left a kind of bitter aftertaste. It felt rushed. And kind of pointless. But the music was SO good! Ah, it was such a nice ride nonetheless, really.

Wow, that sounds like a lot of work. I hope you'll be able to do it though. But will you make the music and stuff too?

Oh, funny thing, I've watched it not long ago too! But I think the pacing was not nice, but it spoke to me on some kind of spiritual level. I've started writing the chapters of my project, and it felt less episodic than I thought, and kind of rushed in the chapters, so I have to work on that again.

I suck at drawing kisses, too xD I suck at drawing people on side view. But we can do it!!!!

Really, that interview made me smile, especially the video, he seems really nice ^_^ I'm kinda afraid of what TRianThology will be like though, but we both know how Ryukishi like to troll his fans, so I think it will be better than what the story seems (especially the "harem" part D: )



Don't you have some scenes you can go on without having a choregraphy to do? I can understand it'd take a lot of work, though. But I'm sure it's worth it!

I've downloaded new drawing software and I've been training to color on them and stuff so I can start drawing my project as soon as I think I'm ready. I'm glad you find it interesting ^_^ I intend to focus on the "side characters" through the main characters, like episodic series such as Bebop. It's a way of storytelling that I find really interesting ^_^

Everytime I see that manga in a bookstore I think about you! xD You should give it a try! I've tried to draw some self-made "doujinshi", but I kinda lost the motivation mid-way. If you do that, that'd motivate me to re-read that manga again :')

DUUUUUDE have you checked ouy Ryukishi07's interview? There are 3 panels about Ryukishi's work, about Umineko (with an extra interview on Umineko there) and some news about 07th Expansion's upcoming game: TRianThology. You have no idea how HYPED I am!

It's a happy ending for the girl cast... But I think it's a very bittersweet ending. Nothing's solved at all after all. I'm glad you liked it! Few people I know liked it, and most people say it's a rip-off of Madoka... If you want to, you can always read the prequel Light Novel Washio Yumi wa Yuusha de Aru. I have not read it yet, but I plan to ^_^ there is an extra chapter set after the series' ending as well, but I was too lazy to read it... hm.

Makes me think that a French Umineko Cosplay group went on stage in a French Convention, and I'm so damn sad I couldn't go there. One friend went there and even took pictures of them without knowing where they were from damn.

Ikuhara re-uses the same themes throughout his animes: boxes in YKA, coffins in Utena, and there is also the same kind of imagery in Mawaru. Same goes for the world's egg/the mirror and I think there is also something like it in Mawaru. Because of that I've seen some people displeased with YKA ending because the themes were TOO similar with those of Utena - but I think it made it even better (at least for Ikuhara enthusiastics!).

Also I find it interesting how we perceive the characters differently throughout the series. Since we follow Kureha, at first, we see the bears as pure evil and desire-driven. But throughout the series our view on them changes as well as hers change. It works for a lot of characters as the flashbacks give them more and more depth, kinda Homura-like. It's pretty cool.

For the court, I think it is really because she thought that they would be together again. As she said, she was a child and so her reaction was very childish.
For the court, I've read many people writing that the court was really symbolizing both the society and the judgement it imposes on us, and our own internalization of it, and that's why you can directly confront the court and free yourself from their influence. Though that wouldn't quite explain the back down on love thingy you said, but I stand still for now on the childish reaction.

Further into the discussion, concerning the outcasted people becoming bears, following the theory about the Court, that would mean that indeed, people become bears after being excluded, as they go through their own internal judgment of themselves.
I'm thinking about Konomi in the second episode -though she wasn't excluded- because once she wants to "eat" Kureha out of jealousy, we see that she is a bear. Before that, nothing hinted towards that fact (even though she was seen doing dirty things with the gray-haired-evil lesbear, but making out doesn't seem to make you a bear) and many people, at the time that the episode was released, theorized that she "transformed into a bear because of her jealousy/desire". Thinking back on it, it is something that is still quite possible. If she internalized the fact that bears were lustful people driven by desire, her own little court made her as one. Let's not forget she the one used later as a tool of this society.
But I may be digging too deep in this one...

As for Maizono... It seems coming from the outside is quite a difficult task. The ones we've seen crossing the wall had a genuine will to help the one they love. Yuriika didn't cross the wall but was took out of it, which is another case. We can guess that bears like Maizono are there for two reasons:
-Either they were bears like Ginko, coming for a certain and genuine reason then falling into the hands of her own desire
-Either, like I theorized, bears can "appear" on the human side of the wall.
But again, this is all theoric n_n"

DAMN YOU THINK THEY DIED TOO! Half the people seem to think they died. I'm kinda lost about why. I can SEE why people would think that - even more thinking of it as a parallel to a famous Japanese lesbian suicide - but I think it's a very wrong way to see it... Maybe it is because I've watched Adolescence of Utena, which is very, very similar, but I don't think they died at all.
They broke their own image then transcended the world the society tried to impose on them. They live in their happy world - separated from the others because they're not accepted, beyond the wall. It is just an amazing image.

I gave it a 10. No afterthoughts. It made me feel so full of strength and hope and really, it really touched me. Even more than Utena. It really made me think "I can do it into this world, too".
