I wonder if you yourself had found or previously had any recommendations regarding anime and manga featuring relationships between one or more persons with a personality disorder (as in your post).
My hubby is going to link me a thread apparently from a forum for Anti-Social Personality Disorder and Narcissists where they themselves point out characters from anime/manga that they believed to be like themselves (have ASPD or NPD), which might help. I'll give you the list when I get it.
But yea, if you yourself have recommendations, I'd be interested to hear them. Thanks!
It really does make for the possibility of a "matrix" type state of awareness more plausible. I am also one of those people who see it as supporting the "spiritual" rather than debunking it. ;-)
Yeah. Anime has turned into a kind of addiction. Chews up way, way too much of my time that could be spent more productively elsewhere. Could be worse, I suppose.
LoL Actually, Quantum Theory tends to help explain "time" and supports most Spiritual Philosophy.
Code Geass is like, my anime fandom. So much nostalgia the other day! But, yeah, Code Geass hate seems to be strong.. Then again, last time I was really active here, people were all over that old-ass Galactic Hero anime.
But you can't force everyone to like it. XD;; I personally liked it so much. *U* The visuals and all were amazing~ And I would like hurry to see the next episode too..
Well of course, I can't blame them for exaggerating. All old myths like that are exaggerated.
But it is factually wrong when people today, who should know better, claim that it actually did cover the world. And there's always some extremist that does just that.
But that flood in question did not cover the entire world, and neither did you have a dude on a boat saving all the animals.
Now, I haven't read the original story (It is in Enuma Elish or the Epic of Gilgamesh isn't it?), so I don't know whether that was more or less exaggerated than the Bible's version, but I certainly know the Bible has ripped off many other mythologies.
The ten commandments for example, is suspiciously similar to stuff found in the Egyptian Book Of The Dead, and Osiris's death and resurrection was likely a large inspiration for the story of Jesus.
But this practice of incorporating old myths into one's own religion is a common sight after all.
You're right about Shion being a girl. But each time I typed "he," I was referring to Light. When I typed "(s)he," I was referring to Motoko. I've seen the very first Ghost in the Shell movie but I don't remember it too well and purposefully didn't add it to my list. I haven't seen the second movie yet though, so you got me there. You're also the second person to recommend Kara no Kyoukai to me. I'll be sure to watch it eventually, but I have quite a few things I still need to watch first because they were mentioned so much earlier. They will all be seen, no doubt.
Kein Problem. Umlaute werden auch im Deutschen des öfteren ohne Sonderzeichen geschrieben. Beispielsweise in Kreuzworträtseln. Lässt sich also trotzdem gut lesen ;)
Dein Deutsch ist ziemlich gut. Französisch kann ich leider nicht. Ich hab' mich damals in der Schule für Latein entschieden, was ich im Nachhinein allerdings teilweise bereue.
That might be true. I probably need some time to think about it.
I just stumbled upon this and thought you might be interested in it. I haven't fully read it myself yet, though.
Du sprichst Deutsch? oO
Gankutsuou gefällt mir recht gut so weit. Mal sehen, wie es sich entwickeln wird.
That's a difficult question to answer, but do you have to believe in anything at all? I mean I can perfectly live without religion, where's the need?
Then again, I believe in myself. I believe I'm a conscious existing being. And I believe in life itself. Life on earth is beautiful and I don't need any other life. I don't need goals or meanings. Life itself is all I need.
No, you haven't offended me. I am just a bit busy at the moment, and haven't had the time yet to properly sit down, think, and reply. I hope to have some more time sooner than later, and apologize for the delay.
With 'laws' do you refer to moral code(s) or more to scientific laws? Because except for the latter I don't quite understand why the sum of energy and matter is an issue here.
Otherwise it's interesting, because it indeed has some pantheistic points of view.
Well, although I'm agnostic to some extent, I'm still more of an atheist than anything else I guess.
>>Well solipsism as such is quite a unique theory in that aspect that we are the universe without us knowing it. So each of us lives in it's little universes and other entities does not exist as individual beings.
Pretty much, yeah. Or maybe there isn't even an 'each of us', only an 'I'. Solpsism requires your mind to be uncontrollable, otherwise you'd realise that everything is only made up by yourself and you'd be able to manipulate that 'reality'. (That's why I alleged that example in the first place.)
>>Sorry for the late replies but I had an immense amount of work and my answer in order to be developed needed some time to mature.
Don't worry. I can perfectly understand that. I was rather busy this week, too (and still am). But I'm glad you take your time to answer, because that's the big advantage of writing in contrary to talking - to be able to take the time you need in order to carefully think about the subject before you answer.

hmm I'm still wondering weather Regios is any good to watch?
I think so. Plot-wise it could be better but there's alot of good things about regios that outweighs a cheesy plot. Up to you though.
