HAHAHAAH I guess it's a common ground for us as fellow GFXers! As a perfectionist myself, I hate how detailed it is needed for me to be satisfied with my own laylay as well. I mean, LMAO, there's such an instance where I'm stuck at it for hours just because one line ratio seems off to me. And I'm like, 'whoot da hell man?' XD

HAHAHA yahh I'm quite shocked to be honest when I first found out that you managed to secure a gig for it. That's some honest work there, and it's not like everyone can do the same! ^^ As for me, I'm quite satisfied with it being a small hobby of mine to kill some time, so it's all good! :nods: And what a surprise to meet a fellow gachas dict!! I too have tasted the true terror of wasting about a thousand of monehhh LMAO AHAHAHA XD Surprisingly, I just realized that every single one of us GFXers had their own style in designing the layout, and that's what I think makes it interesting for us to see! I used to believe that we all needed to make the same style of layout before, jeezies baka me.

Oyehhh, I forgot to mention this one, but Mac's has been real good to me so far. I even just finished my 12 days vacation off work. Man, that was heaven for real, hahah!! Coincidentally, I just finished a new laylay for this year. So now I'll be hibernating again till December as long as I'm not hooked on anything again. zeezzz ⸜(*ˊᗜˋ*)⸝

thanks! yeah i've almost recovered from the cold, just have a bit of weakness which will likely go away soon :] i have younger sisters and kids tend to catch stuff often, once the cold is in the house you are bound to get infected haha! the pfp is done, here's what it looks like:
it turned out well i think, i tried to match their layout's style as much as possible. now i am trying to prepare for my next layout. ah moving always sucks! wishing you all the best with the move. that sounds like quite a rough schedule lol i hope it's not too exhausting. don't worry about the replies, you can take your time with them that's completely fine :] hmm it might take a bit to get back into the project cycle but i am sure you'll be able get back into it quickly with muscle memory :]

i've been doing gfx for 2 years now but only started to take it seriously a year and a half ago when i finished my first layout, that feeling of finishing a big project just hits different haha! a mal friend got me into designing, he made me a pfp back in the day and i thought creating things for series that we like is pretty cool! he was kind enough to teach me the basics and guide me through my first layout, everything that i know was through him. overtime i started to really enjoy making stuff and have been trying to get better at designing since :] how about you? how did you get into GFX?

If I had to be honest, it usually depends on how much detail I wanted the layout to have.
So roughly around 3-4 days, I think? Though it could've been faster/slower depending on the moods, HAHAHHA

But really, I think your designs look much more detailed than mine, and even then, they came out great.
It's even pretty for real! Plus, you can make money out of it! :gasped:

everyone had incredible designs lol but yeah glad to finally make it in top 5 :] now next is top 3 haha :p my march has been okay, caught a cold and workload has gotten a bit more intense but otherwise it's been fine. i worked on a pfp in the meantime for a friend, currently waiting for their response in case i need to change something. once workload gets a little easier i'll start working on the layout. how about you? how's your march going so far?

ah i see! i haven't really used the liquify tool before since i couldn't figure out what to use it for but yeah that makes sense. that's true i've seen some 3D/C4D elements on deviantart but couldn't really blend them well so i haven't experiment much with it. currently i am trying to get better at making backgrounds since it's kinda one of my weaker points haha.

ohh nice! do you draw the animated stuff? i can't draw well at all so that'll be difficult lol. as for 3D elements maybe someday i'll give that a shot, my current laptop can't really handle that haha! though yeah the 3D aesthetic does look very interesting

this was actually the 2nd version of the layout, i spent a month on the original version but i scrapped it since it didn't look good, i made this version in about a week. granted i didn't do anything else that week :p but thankfully it worked out :]
ah no worries! it's always nice to talk to fellow designers, there's very few of us lol. your designs are incredible as well! it's really cool how you blended animation in there :]
