Preciate it, thanks. And if you ever feel the need to fill yourself up with something along the lines of Tex, Serial Experiments Lain is clearly the right choice. The cerebral taunting atmosphere, the precisely crafted surrealism that is intriguing and visually stunning. Well its got it.
IMO, Elfen Lied is ok. I think I gave it 8/10. I wasn't comfortable with all the guro AND the kissing-cousin stuff either, but Lucy's storyline is decent, especially knowing that shit like this would happen if Diclonius existed.
Speaking of getting offended, Clannad tops all IMO. I guess Key's staff really think that the ideal women are a bunch of airheads who like to be housewises, who must use a low voice when speaking to men, and who must be plainly stupid. I am a guy but even I can't accept it.
I don't think Rahxephon is really an EVA ripoff. I dislike it for different reasons.
The only thing discouraging me from Gungrave is that its creators were responsible for Trigun, which was an overrated mess. But I'll probably check it out at some point.
As for the original Ruruoni Kenshin, it was an insultingly stupid series targeted for little kids. Kenshin's refusal to kill always felt laughable and out of place, the fights themselves took forever and were frequently boring and repetitive, and there was endless filler.
Worst of all, they mixed serious life and death emotions with juvenile anime conventions, which lead to the usual trainwreck.
On the bright side, I did enjoy one of the opening songs, "Heart of Sword"!
He told her that he would never forgive her for it personally at the last episode, but that he still cared for her, because he has come to like her and feel sorry for her because he knows she must have it terrible too, just like him.
When you have vectors you can control I think it's much easier to just kill the people that killed your dog and has constantly been bullying you for a long time just because you got two pair of horns sticink out of your head.
It's not like you think about much else when you reach that anger state, especially not at a young age of what was it? 6-7?
I don't think there is much of a moral in it really, other than "if you have the ability to get close to a psychopath without being killed, help him/her, he/she needs you"
I can't say the conclusion was insulting to human intelligence, I don't see how it should do that.
You've clearly not understood that Diclonius is just something people are born with and not something chosen by God.
Lucy gets a split personality after they hit her with the gun when she escaped.
Kohta is indeed quite the stupid fuck I agree.
But Elfen Lied is mainly about telling what can make people drive insane, turn into mass murderes, psycho freaks and whatever, simply by being a bit different.

By the way, I agree with you about Elfen Lied, and don't let the little children tell you otherwise!
come on, arentch u a bit harsh on NARUTO.
To me, NARUTO is the greatest anime ever. I would never compare with any other show.
and speaking about fillers, i would say that I really really hate them, but they must make them as the anime cant never catch up with the manga.
I seriously recommend u to give NARUTO another chance cuz this might really really change ur life as it did to me^_^!!
Take Care...
