Yeah, I have! I really love his cover, especially when his voice gets louder but I have to say I love Amatsuki's version more.

Well that's your choice. RahXephon is one of those shows that always gets different reactions from people and i can't really protest if someone doesn't like it. I could probably tell you to watch up to episode so and so or whatever, but that could just be in vain. At least you gave it a try.

So what are you going to watch now?

RahXephon can be quite a frustrating show on your first watch, but don't worry, the answers will start coming at around episode 13, if memory serves. But really, the plot is developing far more than you think it is, but you can't really tell because how much you're left in the dark. This may be frustrating but it makes RahXephon such a joy to revisit. Well, tell me what you think of it when you finish it. Everyone seems to have their own impressions of it, so i'm looking forward to hearing yours, good or bad.

The only similarities that RahXephon has with Evangelion are superficial ones. In terms of themes and morals, RahXephon is practically Evangelion's opposite. They use similar character archetypes, but how they are used and developed are much different. If you're looking for another Evangelion, i can't promise you'll find it with RahXephon.

RahXephon's strongest point would have to be it's characters. The interactions between them are so honest and genuine, and usually when one character says one thing, they usually mean 10 different things. Hell, you can learn a lot about the characters just by paying attention to their expressions, which often carry a lot of emotion. The romance in the show is probably some of the best i've seen in or out of anime. It's not just unique in how it's done, but it feels very real. You never doubt for a second that these people are really in love with each other. By the end of the show, you'll find yourself hard pressed to choose just one favorite character.

The weakest point of the show would have to be the mech aspect of it. The action is well animated and the mechs themselves have great designs, but it lacks that cool factor, and are, more often than not, one-sided curb stomps rather than battles. But the battles are usually representations of inner battles, so you're invested in them nonetheless.

Hmmm, for what it is, I would. Its fairly entertaining, and the pace is pretty fast. Action is good, characters are easily likeable. Theres also yoda in it for whatever reason lol.
