Alright, thanks for the tips, I'll be sure to watch soul eater someday!
And about recommendations, I think you would enjoy Hunter x Hunter and Mob Psycho (I see you already plan to watch the latter). They are both overall great series, with unique characters, good drama/action scenes, great soundtracks (especially mob psycho), its hard to dislike them.
In regards to HxH, you can experience it in many ways: the 1999 anime, the 2011 anime or the manga. The 2011 anime has a much lighter tone, in contrast to the dark serious atmosphere of the 1999 anime and the manga. The major problem with the 1999 anime is that it only adapts the initial arcs, and the last one adapted (greed island arc) is poorly animated. Also, depending on how/where you read the manga, you might encounter chapters with rough sketches (because thats how the author initially released them in times when his health conditions were bad) but they were all redrawn later. Anyway, personally, I recommend reading the manga all the way/watching the 1999 anime and switching to either the 2011 anime or the manga after that. I know its a lot of info (lol) but I think it might be helpful in case you get interested!
