Hey, my name is Austin. I would say I'm a nice person but I'm also very sarcastic at times. I've been an anime fan for ten years now. I love to chat about anime and plenty of other things as well so don't be shy. In a short list I enjoy anime and manga obviously lol, sports, drawing, writing, visual novels, light novels, eroge games, sleeping, Wrestling, superhero movies, being an unproductive member of society, telling myself I'm cool even though I'm not, minding my own business, and wasting way too much money on Gacha games. I accept pretty much every friend request but I'd appreciate if you only friended me if you actually have the intentions of chatting.

I enjoy to talk about anime or anything really. I'm a laid back person so feel free to chat.

I'm quite lazy on updating my list, I only update about once every few weeks so there are things I've seen and or read that aren't on my MAL list yet. Working on updating it, more updates to come.
Have a nice day and thank you ^^
Lastly remember the following:
Anime Quotes
"You yourself have to change first, or nothing will change for you"
-Sakata Gintoki (Gintama)
"There are two things people fear... those are death and embarrassment. Those who try to overcome death are just idiots, but I won't laugh at those who try to overcome their embarrassment. I like those kind of idiots."
-Sakata Gintoki (Gintama)
"A farewell is like the other side of a coin. It will only happen when there is an encounter. Rather than dreading the day we have to part, shouldn't we be happy that we had the chance to meet today instead?"
-Sakata Gintoki (Gintama)
"Sometimes you need a little wishful thinking just to keep on living."
-Katsuragi Misato (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
"The important thing is to take part.” Famous words spoken by Pierre de Frédy, Baron de Coubertin during a speech. However, this quote tends to be frequently misused and serves as kind of a threat to force participation. There are tons of wild-goose chases in this world, you know. If the most important thing is to take part, then surely one could find meaning in not taking part as well. And if everything’s worth experiencing, then there’s little doubt that the feeling of not experiencing something is, in itself, worth experiencing. In fact, you could even call it a valuable experience to not experience something everyone else does."
-Hachiman Hikigaya (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU)
"Knights cannot save the world. They call certain methods of fighting good and others evil, acting as if there were some nobility to the battlefield. Such illusions, perpetrated by heroes throughout history, have led countless young men to their bloody deaths, all for the sake of this valor and glory."
-Kiritsugu Emiya (Fate/Zero)
"There’s no hope on the battlefield. It has nothing but unspeakable despair. Just a crime we call victory, paid for by the pain of the defeated. Yet humanity has never recognized this truth. And the reason for that is, in every era, a dazzling hero has blinded people with their legends and prevented them from seeing the evil of bloodshed. The true nature of humanity has not advanced a step beyond the Stone Age."
-Kiritsugu Emiya (Fate/Zero)
"Using a simple method to accomplish something impressive, far outshines
using a complex method to achieve the same thing."
-Rider (Fate/Zero)
"I shall grieve, and I shall weep. But I shall never regret."
-Rider (Fate/Zero)
"Whatever you do, enjoy it to the fullest. Thats is the secret of life."
-Rider (Fate/Zero)
"If you walk down the path that you believe is right, you cannot be wrong."
-Emiya Shirou (Fate Stay Night)
"I know I haven't always made the right decisions up to now... Whether I was right, or whether I was wrong, may not even matter in the first place. However, running up against my sins like this-- all of the choices I've made up to this point-- today, being able to die for someone-- is something I'm glad for... "
-Kaya Irimi (Tokyo Ghoul)
"Human relationships are chemical reactions. If you have a reaction then you can never return back to your previous state of being."
-Kaneki Ken (Tokyo Ghoul)
"I'm not the protagonist of a novel or anything... I'm a college student who likes to read, like you could find anywhere... But if, for argument's sake, you were to write a story with me in the lead role... It would certainly be a tragedy."
-Kaneki Ken (Tokyo Ghoul)
"Sometimes good people make bad choices. It doesn't mean they are bad people. It means they're human."
-Arima Kishou (Tokyo Ghoul)
"I don't know everything, I only know what I know."
-Hanekawa Tsubasa (Monogatari Series)
Hello, nice to meet you! I'm Sofia. Yup, defenitely have, I love fantasy and adventure, also romance - but that one more mixed up with the other two ^^ How about you?
Well, with the corona drama (are you doing fine there with that? Spain got hit pretty hard but no one around my family suffered from it thankfully) things have gotten pretty stalled rn, not much I can say honestly q_q
I hope you come back to them soon enough, definitely two of my favorite shows last season!
> I haven't seen the Sonic movie yet. Is it any good?
I had a lot of fun watching that movie! I honestly don't watch that many movies outside of anime ones but seeing a Sonic one caught my attention around as hard as Detective Pikachu did haha, I liked it quite more than that one as well, just all-around lots of fun and hell yeah, Jim Carrey did a 10/10 job, he nailed the excentric character that is Dr. Robotnik.
> What all are you liking from the Spring season so far?
Outside of the completely obvious Kaguya-sama (for real, godlike adaptation, I couldn't have asked for more as a fanboy of the series!) Destruction Flag Otome definitely takes the cake as my second favorite, it's a really fun comedy that also has some solid dramatic moments, the protagonist is too precious and I like her a ton.
Other than that as usual I'm having fun with multiple shows... less than usual due to most of them ending up delayed, but hey haha, but yeah, others I can recommend are Arte (great female protagonist), Tower of God (maybe not as good as I expected, but still has some interesting chars I want to see more of) and Gleipnir (I expected a trashy series but honestly it's delivering hard in animation/directing and the story is pretty good... lots of fanservice tho haha). I saw you're already watching Yesteday wo Utatte so not mentioning that one, are you liking it so far?
> I was so looking forward to Snafu season 3 and was totally devastated when it got pushed back.
I have a friend who loves Re:Zero and its delay hit him like a truck haha. Since Kaguya was my massive hype one and that one aired normally I didn't care too much, but I'm still definitely interested on how Oregairu will go with the finale, about time it happens with how slow the light novel releases were for those final volumes.
> Have you still been watching anime at a fast pace?
I still watch a ton of seasonals, but I slowed down really really hard on non-airing series, maybe 1-2 episodes per week lol, I just don't feel like watching that when I have free time (which is honestly a lot of time, but I end up sleeping or on youtube instead haha...)
> I finally finished bunny girl senpai recently and absolutely loved it.
I was gonna ask you if you watched the movie, but one look at your MAL and I think that you already did hehe, glad that you loved it! Really fun series with a nice setting.
> What anime's currently airing are you enjoying the most?
My favorite so far is Railgun T to no surprise for me, that series is just awesome as usual! Outside of that one, I'm also having a nice time with:
- Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na! Really unique, puts a lot of focus on animation and the process of creating it so any fan of the media can find that extra appealing, the opening is also hella catchy!
- Runway de Waratte, or "I can't believe that a setting about being a fashion designer can be this entertaining", the drama is really working for me, and it's doing a nice work at making me root for the characters.
There are quite a lot of others I'm liking but those are my favorites at this point of the season, I hope any of those grabs your attention!
> my health is doing a bit better lately.
Hell yeah, really happy to read that! Don't ever doubt to message me, I'm looking forward to seeing more of you!
Oh btw, kinda out of place, but have you watched the Sonic movie?
Don't worry about that, I'm already more than enough happy to see you around, as long as you keep appearing from time to time I will be satisfied haha.
This season is looking promising! I have tried so many series and my first impression was positive on nearly all of them.
There are quite some series that I'm a manga reader of so I was looking forward to seeing them animated, my biggest hype is definitely on Kanata no Astra, which a manga I liked a ton and seeing it most likely getting a full adaptation after like 2 years since it finished is incredible.
For some fun with fanservice, Dumbbell and Kawaiikereba should bring a lot of entertainment, I haven't read the source unlike these two, but I'm also loving Tejina-senpai for more like this, the main duo has made me laugh a ton so far.
In any case, my favorite first episode was Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo., which I found such an interesting watch with it's pretty curious theme, and at the time I'm writing this I just finished watching the first episode of Vinland Saga (a really praised manga) and it was very good, looking forward for more of these two.
We will see how I feel as the season passes, but the first impression has been very good and I can't wait to watch more of these and more series, tell me if you end up trying out any!
Man, freaking money always giving problems, those events are really important but the cost they have is quite crazy.
> Man I don't know how you do it with keeping up with school while being able to watch anime as well.
If I had a proper sleep schedule the answer would simply be that I wouldn't be able to, but I go to sleep hella late everyday, why lie xD, between work and school I just don't have time at all between when I wake up and I finally go home, it sucks so hard.
> How do you feel about the Spring anime season so far?
Pretty good so far, although it looks like it will be a more moderate season than the previous one, that had quite some standouts over the rest of series.
My favorites so far are Hitoribocchi no Seikatsu (a cute girls comedy I really like the manga of, the anime delivers as much cuteness!) and the remake of Fruits Basket, I never read the manga or watched the original anime, but so far I'm having a blast with it, really liking the cast.
> Also I'm really curious what your thoughts were on the Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai anime adaption? I haven't gotten the chance to watch it yet but I'd like to soon.
I loved it so, so much, the painful wait for the anime paid off hard, I couldn't have asked for a better adaptation! They did such a great job with the directing and the comedy was as hilarious as in the manga, I really can't recommend it enough n_n
Woah, hi mate! It's really been a while since the last time q_q
Any meaning for your new username?
Reading through your comment is a rollercoaster of emotions as usual, really sad to read that, but at the same time I can't wait to eventually read one of your comments saying that you already got married!
Things haven't changed much for me, (hopefully) last year of school and it's been quite of a struggle between the mandatory work practice and the classes taking the whole day away from me, but I'm doing what I can to keep going and especially to keep watching anime, I'm as hooked as always haha.
See you mate, looking forward to reading more of you!
Thank you so much mate! I appreciate your message, don't worry about "the quality" of it, I'm really happy that you could make time to post, I hope things get better!
Sorry for the late reply, I've been pretty busy these last few months. I noticed you disabled your profile comments so I hope it's okay for me to message you like this.
How have you been doing? Have you gotten any of your motivation back? Good luck with it! :D I haven't really gotten any of mine back but I've been forcing myself to do things that I have to do. Not fun xD
I think Fate Grand Order is worth playing, just don't get to caught up in the Gatcha events. I've spent too much money on this evil game xD It's fun though :) Have you tried Hyperdimension Neptunia yet?
pivix really is great. I might end up paying for the premium too sometime. The art is just so amazing I can't help but look haha. I'm like that too, I have so many games I need to finish but it will probably take years, especially because I'm really lazy xD Have you been able to get a new computer?
I still haven't been able to buy Nier yet. My PS4 broke and my little brother wanted an Xbox so I got him one. He's 13 years old. I want to get a replacement PS4 sometime but I don['t know when I'll be able to afford it. Have you gotten Nier?
Have you been watching the newest season of Gintama? It's been all comedy for the most part so far. Also looking forward to the silver soul arc that's going to be airing soon. MAL says winter, I really hope so. My favorites are Gintoki, Kagura, Hijikata, Sogo, and Kamui. Which arc have you enjoyed the most out of the serious or the comedy? If you can't remember or decide that's okay. :)
I hope to hear from you again. I really enjoy chatting with you. :)
Welp, this reply is super late!
I keep telling myself to reply back but I keep forgetting!
Since my comment section is opened, I hope it's okay for me to comment on your profile as it's easier for me to track since I tend to forget PM'S.
I am doing fine for the most part, just got a little stressed with my studies & haha, my motivation has gotten back, hope I won't end up getting lazy once again.
How are you btw? I hope you're doing fine as well!
I feel you about spending money, don't remind me of how much I spent of idol/rhythm games.
My bank account is probably cursing me by now lol cx
I unfortunately haven't tried "Hyperdimension Neptunia" yet.
I have been mostly playing Pokemon & Danganronpa so I haven't had time for it ;;
Yes pixiv is worth it if you want to check what's popular.
So we are in the same boat then when it comes to completing games & yes I got myself a new computer
I however I'm still using my old one for the most part since I haven't gotten used to the new one yet.
Oh you're such a nice brother to buy one for him!
Yes I did get Nier, it's fun to play not to the mention it has one of the best soundtracks.
Talking about games, have you tired playing persona before?
Ya, I really love the comedy arcs & so sad that the manga will end soon!!
I really enjoyed the Porori season because I missed the comedy recently and the new season is great so far!
There are a lot of great arcs in Gintama so it's a bit hard to decide but if I had to choose, my top ones would probably be:
Yoshiwara in flames arc, Four Devas arc, Host club, Kintama, Courtesan of a Nation, Vacation arc, Shogun assassination arc (there are a lot of great Gintama arcs tbh)
and wbu? =)
I surely enjoy chatting with you as well & sorry once again for the late reply cx!
wahhhh hi there!! i LOVE your profile pic as well??? fhdsfhd that anime will forever be the end of me ;__; but as for the anime i've been enjoying this season ahem it's basically the ones on my currently watching list? ehe. however, the soundtrack for koi wa ameagari no you ni has me esp shook *cries* it's a must watch if you haven't started it already! wbu tho?? anything in particular that you're rlly loving?
The holidays went fine, nothing too memorable happened but they gave me energy for this part of the year... well, I think, not sure how much is left by this point hehe, and yours?
> Damn incomplete adaptations that hook you just to make you read the source material lol.
Damn 90% of the anime adaptations xDDDD, I like to continue stuff I like with the manga but I'm too lazy with light novels, so there goes all my interest.
Really glad to see you had a blast with Houseki! Really great series, and the manga keeps the level or it gets even better somehow, the BD sales are looking nice (5k per volume) so there is hopes for a sequel.
> Sakurai is the MVP for sure!
That guy was wonderful n_n
> Your English is so good that I never would notice it's not your first language.
Stop, you will make me blush.
> How are things going with school now? (since I haven't been able to chat for a few months)
Struggling a bit but I'm handling it the best I can, there is an exam tomorrow that is quite important, crossing fingers for it going well q_q
> Gintama (of course xDDD) (Also it does feel really weird that Gintama is finally ending)
Even if I'm definitely not the biggest Gintama fan around, I can't help but feel a bit sad for that time coming, this arc is also being pretty good as well so I feel hyped xD
> Sora yori mo Tooi Basho is my favorite of the season ATM.
This one is pretty good! It started near the top to me but it fell a bit compared to others, but I'm enjoying it nonetheless.
> Do you have a favorite of the season so far? Which ones are liking the most?
Well, as it was expected, Saiki S2 is a clear 10/10 from my part so far and I don't see it moving from there at all xD.
This season is pretty weird to me since I'm 7/10 enjoying a lot of series, but I dislike/already dropped pretty much every hyped one (like Violet Evergarden and Darling in the FranXX) so I'm not really in any seasonal hype q_q, together with Saiki S2, I'm also having a great time with Gakuen Babysitters and Miira no Kaikata, the first gets me all the time with both comedy and more touching moments, and the second... is honestly pure diabetes, definitely one of the shows that made me "awww" the most.
> I was scared for a bit when Saiki wasn't able to get subbed. So glad they are able to sub it now though!
Tell me more about that q_q, the days before episode 1 got subbed were stressful to me, just imagining one of my favorite series being the one not getting any subs was hard to deal with, but thankfully the fansubs finally came and god they are good, now I just take it as the series coming out the Saturday/Sunday and it's fine, and the fansub team puts so much love being the translations, it looks fantastic!
> Did Kaguya get an adaption announcement?
Still waking up everyday hoping to read that, but nope, the anime waiting pain train still continues, we are 2 chapters away from the 100 so at this point I'm crossing fingers for an announcement happening when it comes out, but yeah... q_q
> All my brothers names start with A's
You and your brothers would be a perfect fit in the Aria the animation cast, pretty much everyone there starts with A xDD
Thanks a lot for the comment as always, looking forward for the next time we talk! :D

God I love her protagonist so much
- Runway de Waratte, or "I can't believe that a setting about being a fashion designer can be this entertaining", the drama is really working for me, and it's doing a nice work at making me root for the characters.
