I see. I began to read where I had left off the One Piece Anime because I didn't have much time and I wanted to caught up as soon as possible. I've read some of my favourite moments tho, like the Enies Lobby arc, and I'll definitely read the manga from beginning to end sometime, probably when One Piece ends.
I totally like the art too. A lot of people say that they can't get into One Piece because the art looks "weird", but I'd rather have an unique art than an art that looks similar to hundreds of other Mangas. I also love how Oda can show so much emotion through the faces of the characters, specially when they cry. Also panels like this:


About TG, I totally agree with you, studio clown ruined the anime. The 1st season was rushed and small details like Kaneki's drawing foreshadowing his "dragon" form in the 1st chapter, and the fact that the ghoul detector thing didn't work on Kaneki (wich foreshadowed ghouls within the CCG) were left out. The 2nd season didn't even try to follow the original plot.
Re will probably turn out the same way too, since it looks like they'll adapt 60 chapters in 12 episodes again.

Yeah, I would have liked to see more interactions between re-Ayato and Touka aswell as re-Ayato and kaneki, specially after they became family. But I wouldn't really be disappointed if he were to die, I would feel sad of course, but there are characters I care much more about (Furuta, Uta, Hide).

Btw, I saw that you have been reading One Piece from the beginning, but you've already seen the anime up to the time skip. Why don't you just beginn to read were you left off the Anime? You'd catch up much faster, and even tho it sucks to wait 1 week for a chapter, I feel like reading One Piece weekly is a much better experience than reading it in one go.
One Piece has a huge world building and a lot of plot lines, which leaves a big room for theories and discussions after almost every new chapter. And it will be around for the next 6-10 years.

hey there. Since you've been reading tokyo ghoul, which is one of my favourite mangas, and since none of my RL friends read it, I thought that I'd leave a comment.
So how do you feel about the newest chapter? For me, it's one of the best chapters in mounths.
I've been reading TG for 2 years, but I kinda stopped looking forward to new chapters after Kaneki turned into "dragon". The chapters somehow felt really slow. However, this chapter sets up 2 confrontations that I've been wanting to see for a long time. Speacially Uta/Yomo. Can't wait to learn more about Uta, he's one of the most mysterious characters in TG.
I just don't like how the death flag has been raised for Ayato :(

Ok, I'll try the manga first, although I have a lot to read before that. I may try the anime again if I enjoy the manga.
