Been reading manga on a daily basis since 2007. At this point, I've been grown fond of the character's dialogue and expressions as the heart of the manga.
Usually, I don't watch anime series, I believe they tend to have unnecessary filler, fan service, comedy, censored scenes and are overall a mass-oriented loss of time. But, some animations are excellent and pique my interest enough to watch a couple of chapters. Seinen anime movies and Ghibli Studio anime movies are the exceptions.
In terms of genre, I'm usually reading shonen, seinen, and a couple of light comedies.
I like to discover any fresh story. Be it from Japan, South Korea, China, Mongolia, or any other Asian country, I'm open to recommendations.
