How is everything?? It's been so long. Feels like I just got back from Japan a few months ago. I just saw your message. I've been updating my lists on and off for the past few years, but rarely check my messages (and it doesn't tell me that I have any new messages for some reason). Are you still in Japan??? If you are, and are still searching for some otaku areas worth going to outside of Akiba, this website might be helpful:

The only place that we went to was Nakano Broadway. It might be worth checking out, although it's kinda hard to find so I would follow the directions on the website. Aside from that, how's life treating you these days? I recently started a manga publishing company. We haven't published anything yet, but our first book should be ready in the next few months. Man I wish MAL would send some sort of notification to my phone when I got a message =/. I saw on facebook the other day that you were in Japan again. That's great. I wish I could go back soon. Even though the time we spent together in Japan was very brief I definitely had a great time with you. You'll have to tell me all about your trip when you get back! I'm sure there will be a day when we see each other again whether that be in Japan, US, or Australia.

Not too much has changed in the past two years. I did take a japanese langage class at uni and will be registering for Japanese 2 in just a couple days :). I also got a pretty good job in March that will finally get me out of my parents house by the end of the year. YAY! And my love for anime has not faltered. With just a quick glance at our lists I would definitely recommend season 2 of Bakuman if you aren't reading the manga (which I'm not but will probably start). You may like Kimi ni Todoke also even though the main character is a girl. I will admit I love that show and it's pretty girly :3. There isn't really anything in the past couple seasons that stood out as a must-see.
