Interesting. I can understand the feeling of being "late to the party" since that's pretty much why I stopped playing and never pursued it seriously. Still, it must be cool to watch the pros play IRL. I think I'll end up spending the next hour on SmashWiki thanks to this conversation :P

I knew there was something I was supposed to ask you. You're with AniAri, right? I found your Twitter account from Shirukii's, and I noticed that you called yourself a "competitive smasher". Would you mind elaborating? SSBM is still probably my favourite fighting game, but there are so few people who play it. I'm pretty much retired from the fighting scene (I was never in the competitive circuit anyway), but I wouldn't mind hearing from someone who has first-hand experience in the community.
