Nice. I'm glad you liked the Muv-Luv franchise overall. It does have some issues like you stated, although I personally think that the positives far outweigh the negatives. Regarding the conclusion, yes, it's not to everyone's taste just like Clannad's ending. Your personal enjoyment will depend on how you look at it.
Have fun with Fata Morgana! I bought it on Steam together with the fandisc and soundtrack during a holiday discount. It was totally worth it, man. Make sure you read the fandisc too if you like the main story, because it adds a lot to the story and gives a certain character a ton of development.
Yeah, I agree with your thoughts on the anime adaptation of MLA. Hopefully they can put in enough flashbacks to make the audience care about the characters, and specifically, show what Takeru has gone through between his peaceful school days and his life as a soldier. I'm not expecting this to be a masterpiece like the VN, but like you said, getting to see some of the action scenes would be awesome.
Oh yeah, I hope Integrate will be good. From the promo art, it doesn't look like Takeru will be the main character this time. I wouldn't mind Yuuko taking the protagonist spotlight as she was great in MLA. Well, hard to say how good it will be at this point so we'll just have to wait and see.
No worries. I only reply to comments when I have the time. But thanks for saying that. You can do the same, of course.
Nice. Glad to hear that you have a good, stable job as well. I'm a network consultant myself, and have been in the IT industry since 2015.
Yeah, the ML series has a little bit of everything, and does almost everything well. Especially MLA, where it peaks extremely high and has many emotional and epic scenes that will stick with you. Takeru's also a very good character, as his character development feels realistic due to his circumstances. I found Meiya to be my favorite heroine for her selflessness and devotion to Takeru, but I also liked Sumika for being a good waifu character. You're almost at the finish line. There're 10 chapters in total, IIRC.
Cool. Don't worry. It's not a Shoujo at all. It's a Seinen story that contains dark themes like bullying, revenge, and redemption. Although its content is somber and sometimes depressing, I found its underlying message to be beautiful and its trio main characters really shined through. The art is also quite unique for a VN, but what truly stands out is the soundtrack. I never knew gothic music could be so damn good! :)
Oh yeah, same here. I hope the MLA anime can be good like Steins;Gate's or Clannad's adaptation. I'm a bit worried though, because apparently, they're not going to be adapting Extra and Unlimited. I'd say that MLA is only as emotional as it is because ML laid out its foundation; it introduced us to the characters and got us to care about them before shit went down. Without a proper set up, I'm just not convinced that the anime can convey the same raw emotional impact that the VN was able to bring out. We'll have to see, though. It's still too early to say, but as a fan of the franchise, I'm nonetheless excited about the anime.
Hey, what's up dude? It's been like 5 years I think. How have you been?
I've been doing quite alright these days. Managed to land a good job recently after going through 5 intense interviews. It's a tough job but the pay is very rewarding. :)
Nice. Hope you'll enjoy the Muv Luv series. MLA is seriously amazing and deserves to be experienced at least once. I recently finished Fata Morgana which is another top notch VN that I can fully recommend. In fact, it's my favorite VN so far.

Nice. I haven't been all that active with visual novels last year either. But yes, I'm definitely gonna read White Album 2 sometime this year.

Nice picture of Meiya, by the way!
