also how could battlers dad know that he might die today?

i also find the artstyle in the manga better and the manga gives off a really nice atmosphere and thats really important
i really cant think of how it will end, so far it really looks like it was a witch. but knowing higurashi i suspect everyone and dont believe what i see but that doesnt helpe in finding the truth either haha
my biggest question so far is whats going on with maria. i think she can sense the supernatural things and doesnt just act like the way they explained it, you know that "difficult phase"
also those protection charms irritate me.
