yup, i finished it. i actually started liking it and then they went and made all the characters whine all the time and i got annoyed again :/.
finished serial experiments lain this morning and i think it's partially responsible for the headache i've got now :))

i dropped the show after seeing a few episodes -___-. started watching it again cause i don't wanna drop stuff and the show's not particularly demanding :)). speaking of which, i think i'm gonna brace myself and finish Loveless afterwards just so i know i'm done with it :/. have you seen it? (Loveless, i mean)

i've heard kimi ni todoke's really nice ^^. darn it all, there're just too many shows to watch :))

aww, sounds nice. love how you seem to love adorable stuff ^^. btw, kimi ni ageru is another story that's quite nice :). and i really enjoyed the art as well :D

i know what you mean. guess at the end of the day it just boils down to what you feel like watching/reading at that particular time though :D.

i wanted to mention something along the lines of 'don't forget the pinch of humour in those shows', but then i realised that mostly what makes me laugh is the absurd situation the characters are in, like you described :D
if you feel up to more plot-heavy stuff, you have to read Sakura Gari. i almost cried by the end of it, but it's a beautiful story ^^

nah, somewhere deep down i'm a sucker for love stories xD. guess i just don't wanna end up reading a typical story and be disappointed afterwards (though i know there are lots of great stories out there). guess i'm just not in the right mood for one now :D.

;)) true, if the story's well written they're beautiful. now that i think about it, apart from a one-shot, i haven't actually read any shoujo manga o.O gonna have to fix that at some point :))
*after looking up ao haru ride* aww, based on the description it sounds great! for some reason it made me think of horimiya ^^. i haven't read that one either, but i saw the ova based on it and really liked the story :D

i know the feeling ^^. nice. is it bram stoker's version that you're reading then? i've only seen the 1992 movie based on the novel, which was nice, but the changes and geographycal inaccuracies were quite annoying :D.
speaking of books, i wanna finish 'full dark, no stars' and start 'solanin' and 'what a wonderful world!' after that. inio asano might just become one of my favourite authors ^^
