Ok, so this is what you need to know about me:

- I hold anime to the same standards as regular TV shows and Movies, I believe that if you have a story to tell it doesn't matter if its live-action or drawn, and I get really annoyed when people think that ALL anime is for kids just because its drawn.

- my favorite element in an anime/manga is characters, anything with really good character development is an A for me.

- genre I like the most: Psychological, Sienen, Josei, Mystery, Dark Humor, Historical, Slice of Life, and Parody, I also love Shounen and Shoujo when they're done right.

- I love action (ex: One Piece, Pandora Hearts) but have always had a soft spot for a good story with wonderful character development and rich backgrounds (Honey and Clover, Fruits Basket) I love anime that makes you think and is multi-layered so you can watch over and over again and always catch something new (Yojouhan Shinwa Takei) and anime with a nostalgic, very gentle feel to it that you don't want it to end (Natsume Yuujinchou).

- I try not to discriminate when it comes to different genres and am always open to suggestions and new series, the only types of anime I hate are: over the top fanservice, moe, and hentai. Other than those I am open to anything.

- My first real anime series (as opposed to Arabic Dubbed) was Ruroni Kenshin.

- My first manga that I actually sat down and read the whole thing from beginning to end is Slam Dunk!

- The anime's music is a big part of the experience for me, the opening, ending and soundtrack should really complement the over-all feel and message of the show..

- I hate the whole "hating the female lead" in every tvshow/movie/manga/anime that's growing these days, its getting to be like a rule or something.
