Slow Loop (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
First of all, when I read the description before it aired, it sounded really interesting about how two girls with opposite personalities become step sisters. But then everything just kinda when south in my opinion. I have seen one other fishing anime which is Dairy of Our Days at Breakwater. The differences that i can site are the characters in DODB have more depth and the there's a story that you can follow. In Slow Loop its basically cute little girls super interested in fly fishing and thats it. Every single episode the plot is recycled: New stuff->testing it out->cute moments->cooking the catch->the end. It ...

Gokushufudou (Anime) add
First of, when i saw the trailer/teaser/preview, i immediately thought that "this cant be it right? they must be joking. this is netflix we're talking about." But let me give you my 2 cents of review.

Story: 8
i rated it as very good since if you look past the mediocre animation, the story is actually pretty good for slice of life anime. the episode style where its composed of 4 shorts per episode is pretty much ideal for the kind of story that they are trying to portray.

Art: 5
now this is were most people are mad about which i can agree 100%. its like you're reading ...

I will give a brief review for those who dont like to read long reviews.

Story: basically Yuru Camp but instead of camping its angling.

Art: simple animation not Demon Slayer ufotable high level but also not Usagi drop low level. Fishes are draw beautifully and captures the real thing.

Sound: its good.

Character: average character development. quirks and traits are nicely shown in various scenes. If you have watched Eyeshield 21 it would be Hina=Sena, Natsumi=Monta, Oono=Kurita and Kuroiwa=Hiruma

Enjoyment: if you like angling, interested to try angling, just wanna see a group of girls do angling, want to watch a relaxing anime in a beach setting after ...

Usagi Drop (Anime) add
Preliminary (7/11 eps)
To begin with, i just want to say that this anime is within my list of slice of life anime that deals with an adult and a child thrown in a unlikely situation together. In any order:
Barakamon
Poco's Udon World
Usagi Drop
Amaama to Inazuma

This anime just like any slice of life anime gives you that very warm and gentle feeling but what makes this anime very special is that it deals with loss and single-parenting, two elements that are very evident in society today. But amidst all that, Daikichi and Rin managed to set aside those things and gives us a glimpse of what love and dedication ...

I'd like to give my 1 cent of opinion on this anime. I can sort of relate it being somewhat like a Sherlock Holmes v Prof. Moriarty kinda vibe. So this review is solely based on the anime and not including the manga, because from what I gathered, the story of the manga and anime is sort of different and there are elements in the manga that are very crucial to the story line that are not seen/included in the anime adaptation.

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

Although this anime is one of the best out there 8/10. I would've given it a 10/10 if not for the ending. The ...

Gamers! (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (7/12 eps)
First of, I was very optimistic when i first read about the synopsis considering its new to me and a take on gaming which is a pretty cool concept lets be honest. Watching the first few episodes was kind of cool since they tackled mainly on the gaming part. But as the story progressed, I kinda get the feeling that the Rom-Com part was forcedly pushed rather than sticking on the gaming part of the story. If you look at it via a food point of view, the gaming part is supposed to be the main course while the Romcom part should be the side ...
