Yes the second series of Digimon is similar to first, it isn't bad, but the other series seems really bad.
It is probably, Digimon is older, and in the time the laws of commerce cans change in the time. Effectively anime of this last years are very difference respect the anime of below 2000.

Effectively I would like to watch again the first serie for curiosity...Digimon is too mature respect Pokemon, it's more simple to appreciate this for a teenager or adult. But the new series seem really bads.
The manga is really high-priced

Mmm...I liked pokemon when I was a child, but now I think it is too childish.
Instead the rival Digimon(first serie) remain a good series.
I didn't know Deltora, is it a good anime?
