Hello there, fellow Otaku Paradise member!

As you might know, Genshiken was voted the "Anime to be watched" for the month of January.

After completing that, we set out on making a review of it from the Otaku Paradise reviewing account.

Oh I saw some of those, and was kind of surprised, truth to be told. I thought he was more of an hardcore-ecchi only guy, haha. :P
Oh I was very happy to see an anime adaptation coming up, but was a but down when I saw it will be an OVA. For some reason, OVAs always turn out to be bad. At least in my world. :\

Speaking of which, any good but not years long seinen to recommend? I haven't read/seen many really, yet whenever I do I feel glad for doing so.

As for your recommendation, it does look nice, I might start reading it right now, as momentarily I have nothing better to do. ._.
Now that you mentioned it, apart from this being Korean and not Japanese, and maybe slight art difference, is there any significant difference between the manga and manhwa?

Money makes the world go round after all. Maybe the mangaka has too much of a time off, and wants to use it for something constructive, heh.
Neither do I, so far, the characters are some of the best I've ever seen in any manga. :\

That is the truth, in fact I would be a tad disappointed - actually pretty much disappointed if it went that deep - I can't actually see Kaoru wanting to give pain, and eve less her enjoying her, considering how often would she say she was scared. Not even in a distant future.

True, neither do I heh. In fact, we here don't even have such things as sex education in school or anything, though it would probably help a lot.

I at first was actually ashamed to read such a thing, but it became so interesting and kind of eye-opening. To be absolutely honest, I thought all of those things were pretty much awful, but if I was like, if I can conclude by what I read in this manga, that it is what BDSM is about, even if it is pretty much a beginning, then there really isn't such a big fuss about it. This manga really gave me a lot of thought, as it was so weird for me, so sorry if I'm being boring with my personal discoveries about the world of sexual activities and fetishes. :D

Well, naturally, if there weren't for that kind of interest they both have for each other, I think this would be no more than a pure, well drawn ecchi, with nothing but hot scenes to enjoy upon. In fact, the real horror would come when it would turn into a harem genre (and it would sooner or later if it weren't for romance, I believe).
Speaking of that, I kind of started to believe every seinen is possible in real life, or even based by real happenings in it - well at least by what I saw/read.

Ok just finished Genshiken, is there also gonna be an topic were we can put in a little review of this show. I would like to see what the peoples thoughts are of this anime is after completing it.

Yeah, I don't read that much manga, not unless I've watched the whole thing first then I resume from where the anime ended in the manga series... Ok, I'll check that out! ^^

Oh, and I haven't watched Genshiken yet, just the first 2 episodes...

Me to, yet, I do not really understand why is there a new manga. Though I do have the idea that the Arashi series is probably having more real S&M, as the main series is pretty much about learning about it and getting into it - could be the fans demanded more, and this was the only way to show it, haha. :D

I still do not know though, what will happen when the main arc finishes. New series, or simply a time skip that is actuall ytaking place in Arashi series. Who knows, who knows. ^^;

Apparently it did not, I haven't really caught the track of how often it comes out, but it seems to come out as regularly as it used to.

Speaking of which, how do you like the manga so far? And did you start reading Arashi series? It would appear Arashi is going to be much more S&M revealing, considering where the plot is heading. :P
