Did you know that Hiromi Tsuru, the VA of Madoka Ayukawa(and also Bulma, Meryl Strife, etc), has passed away yesterday? A bit sad to see the voice of Ayukawa gone...

Yeah, he kinda did. Why in the hell?

It didn't feel like the light hearted KOR we all know and love, but I still liked it. As soon as the 1st movie ended, I wanted to know what Kyoskuke's and Madoka's lives together were like. The love triangle was unnecessary, yeah, I agree. Although it did show that Hikaru had finally moved on from Kyosuke. Another thing I liked from that movie was the 19 year old and the 22(I think) year old Kyosuke conversation. It showed how Kyosuke had matured in that time period. I also liked 22 year old Madoka and Kyosuke teasing 19 year old Kyosuke about sex. It was a bit disappointing how Kyosuke's sisters and Komatsu and Hatta hadn't changed muched, though.

What I thought was unnecessary in that movie was the inclusion of Mitsuru, that male pop singer from the OVA. Not to mention they ruined his character development. In the OVA, he falls in love with that girl he had met in HS and stops being a playboy. Then, in the 2nd movie, he goes back to being a playboy, what the heck?

Why such a low rating for the 2nd KOR movie?

Gahhh I felt it was necessary to leave you a comment here. Thank you so much for helping me find the title to that anime in the forum! I didn't expect anyone to get it so quickly. I remember I'd spend a good half hour replaying the opening to CPR just to hear the song, blasting it at full volume whenever I'd do my chores. Having this nostalgia hit me so hard feels... wow. Again, thank you oh so very much!

100% agree about the FMA:B comment. The original took the good first half of the series and turn it into something even greater. FMA is a great example where the anime adaptation is better than the original source (and FMA:B in our case).

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood was weak and a disappointment. Everyone's love of this anime is just proof American anime watchers in mass are foolish idiots with no taste. For the small few that don't fall into this category, I thank you for your continued support of good anime.

FMA Brotherhood was average at best and complete crap at its worst.

Back at ya, sucka!

Finished Texhnolyze and I think it sucked so there. People can say "its not for everyone" and "you have to be completely into to understand" and "its all about metaphors and symbolism", but the honest truth is no of them understand it either. They are just saying the like it so they can like something different, unique and weird enough to seem like they are all deep and not your average anime watcher. And for any dick that defends it by saying anything about it being different from all the Moe we are use to seeing. For those of us who don't just watch anime to be watching anime and actually get IT, this was painful to watch.

Texhnolyze is art.....very bad art, but still art. And to answer any pending questions about the score I gave it: Yes I get the metaphors, yes I know what the story really was, and no it doesn't change the fact it was a sloppy, convoluted mess with a lot of pointless moments and characters.

Overhauled the List. I really like the look of it now. I hope others like it as well since so many view it for some reason.
