Cool! I'm glad you did give Steins;Gate another try & liked it :) It's really one of those shows which u need to invest a little into, and become amazing later on.

Yeah, that one's pretty dramatic but really beautiful. I appreciated their musical work a lot even though I'm not a big fan of classical music.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it :) I liked how that show made it so that none of the characters are "leftovers", with decent development as a whole class. There isn't really much "plot twists", however, "tone shifts" might be the correct word to use here. Definitely not just a SoL, so it might beat your expectations ^^

Gurren Lagann might have more substantial "plot twists" if you're specifically looking for that, though it's pretty minor and non-spoilerish (if you don't think too much into it :3)

Let's get right to it. I've watched all of the 4 shows you mentioned, and if I would comment on it, I'd say that they're very different from each other.

Let me give you a "summary" of each in my own knowledge:

Gantz - Supernatural alien killing "game", more towards a death-game like scenario imo (that said, there'll be blood). I heard the manga is kinda better, though the anime is pretty interesting as well.
Jormungand - Gun trading business to sum it up, but doesn't really feel that way. It's really just showing the perspective of the usual "bad guys" through a child soldier. Pretty interesting if you like military business trading & gun action etc.
Gurren Lagaan - Pretty much the epitome of Mecha Badass-ness. No spoilers, but if you enjoy revolutions & big ass manly robot fights, then you'll enjoy this. Row row fight the power!
Ansatsu Kyoushitsu - This is more of an odd one out within these 4, as it's less "action" but more towards school/comedy stuff. Don't let that fool you though, as while this show does not focus fully on action, there are some great action/fight scenes within the plot. One of my few top shows, I'd definitely recommend this one if you enjoy a chill show with serious plot progression once in awhile!

You can watch it in any order, though I recommend alternating between genres for better experience (at least that's my method) :) I've noticed you just watched steins;gate, how was it? I'm so proud of yaaa! >w<

Have a great 2 days break! If you need anymore, Darker than Black can supplement your action/supernatural needs. Gin no Saji and Barakamon can help you sit back and relax, if you need some amazing SoL/comedy :)
