Oh I'm programmer and also learning unity on side. Working on simple prototype that is suppose to be little like vampire survivor but have not worked on it past 3 months as I was busy making other projects and being little discouraged how many people have already done this idea but game making is all about execution not ideas.
Been wanting to play competitive pokemon, but always been too much to get into with new mons and interest in competitive seems to be down each year. I have tried some new cards games like pokemon, digimon, legends of runeterra but best of them is Teamfight Tactics. I was so puzzled why people liked this autobattler genre, but it is like playing draft mode, where people share same pool of cards and you have to make best of what you get. I really love that there is no p2w or grinding for cards.
People are always surprised when I have seen like 2000 anime but it is way less of commitment than playing video games. 1 hour (3 eps) of anime day would be like 84 shows year (if 13 eps) which is more than some people have watched in their career haha. I watch before bed to wind down and usually have time for movie too.
I'm currently playing Nier automata and it is 60 hour game. There are multiple endings but story takes really long to get going. In fact I have not reached that point despite playing it on my off days. Surely there is something great about story if people can push through this simple and clunky gameplay. At least music is great.
I think it is cool if you are getting into manga, definitely faster paced when reading. I'm only starting to read more manga myself. It is uncharted territory for me. But one big accomplishment I did is to catch up on One Piece during covid times. It felt criminal to read 20 years of manga in such short time span, there are over 100 volumes now. It is possible to catch up in 1 year by reading 2 volumes (1 hour each) on weekend.
