I have started top watch less anime in the name of Japanese studies. The anime I have watched and will watch have either been entirely in Japanese or have been seasonals. Isekais and slice of lifes have been the flagstone of my Japanese comprehension so far. That being said I have also been watching Japanese animanga adaptaions. Those are also strangely enough just about in the comprehensible input spectrum and are very enjoyable to me right now; more so that anime.

Hopefully Alice in Borderlands can be that for you. Although I haven't watched it, I know that on mal the manga is held in much higher regard than the anime so I imagine it's better. Ngl tho I doubt I'll be reading sundome if it's another ecchi since I have so many manga I want to read it seems ridiculous to add another mid one to the pile.

yeah i mean im a simple man. i like femdoms and it looks like it has that covered. the psychological aspect is intriguing though, i might have to check it out. if youre looking for something more psychological ive been binging Alice in Borderland recently, which is both really introspective and happens to have the occasional bit of ecchi on the side as well lol.
