Luckily, I knew some people in my class, so it wasn't that hard. They were always with their friends from another class, so I became friends with them aswel. I heard that they watched this show called Naruto and I got curious so I began watching it. They watched the subbed version, but I thought that the subbed version was weird, so I watched the English dubbed one. I must say, it really amazed me. I had never heard about Anime before back then because no one I knew watched Anime. I became emotionally attached to the characters in Naruto, which I had never done before. The dubbed version was far, far behind the subbed version, so I had to make the transition from dub to sub when there were no dubbed episodes left to watch. I don't regret it. Later I started watching Boku Dake ga Inai Machi and Shingeki no Kyojin. I was amazed all over again. The gore, blood and bruteness in Shingeki no Kyojin attracted me, while the mystery and how Satoru wanted to save his mother and friend in Boku Dake ga Inai Machi really got me pumped up. You were a real challange to me this year so I went for the safe route. Both shows played an important role for my attachment to anime as medium(Though I watched them in german dub/sub maybe that was relevant too). I am also glad they dared to sent you the whole post.
