I try to be as objective and open to new anime as possible, and might change my review of anime that I have previously reviewed before if it has proven to change my view of it.
Most of the series which I finished back in the day before I really got into anime and finding out about MAL tend to have very extreme or exaggerated scores, but it's more of the latter. As such, my mean score is inaccurate and shouldn't be taken too seriously. Regardless, I stand by those said scores. They are scores based on the context of anime at that time and aren't influenced by today's standards, which gives proper leniency and a more objective point of view.
Nowadays, I tend to be more liberal and critical of anime which is reflected in my wider range of scores (and genres) though I have to say that part of it is because anime as a whole has been lacking a lot in the past few years in my opinion.[/size]
Watching: These are the anime I am currently following. I don't update them every time I watch the new episode (with exception for series that takes a few weeks/months to air a new episode/ova). Those that I have watched at least 1 episode in this section means I am up to date with the anime. Those that are seating there with 0 are still waiting for me to get into the mood to try them out as part of this season's anime. I usually get down to them before the season ends.
Completed: Pretty self-explanatory. I have written comments for some anime that I have much to say about though you won't be able to see them until the comments column is part of the "Show Columns" in settings. MAL please add!
On-Hold: The anime found in this category are mixed between the goods and bads. The bads ones are marked with a bad rating and have been left there to rot for usually more than a year. There is no determined time as to when I'll watch those as it really depends on my mood. As for the unrated ones, I'll usually watch them soon and maybe even finish them if it proves to excite me for the first time (since it failed for the first or subsequent episodes).
Dropped: These are the anime that are mostly a goner for me. I don't bother looking at them too much, since they are filled with series that I hate. Sometimes though, I might revisit some of them, removing them from my dropped list if they prove their worth to me. Most of the time, this doesn't happen.
Plan to watch: These are the anime that are new to me or have yet to come out. I often come to this list when I feel like watching anime, similar to how it would be like when finding a new book to read. This section is almost always updated, and probably will never be empty as well.
well I can watch some reverse harem but most of the time its all fan service n stuff and there is no clear couple by the end...... but usually I hate reverse harems because there is no actual plot line just a bunch of bishies and one main female protagonist. (who usually simple minded)
