Oh well; whatever you're comfortable with, m8. ^^
It's not bad tbh. I just started XY.
Why don't you watch older shows? :3
I've had a few arguments like those over the internet, but I realized there's not much point in arguing and just back off quickly, as if i care if some guy thinks he successfully roasted me on an internet community where I am not popular, but if they do try to pick a fight on some community where i am well known, they should be ready for a fight, and soon be demolished.
P.S. if you're interested in reading reviews you can check out some of mine ^_^
I think you have a point about Sengoku Nadeko. It probably makes more sense now that you point out her age and maturity fits what she did, at least a bit. But as I mentioned, it's not like I'm not fine with Sengoku's change, I just thought it's a bit too extreme (although considering the whole merchandise did not make much sense, there isn't much problem with Sengoku turning to the snake-god).
I think the thing about Grimgar rated 10 is my problem of rating anime series. It's not like I don't care about story (as Grimgar lacks the strong pace you usually get from a fantasy anime), or the characters (Manato did die a bit too quickly before he had the chance to develop), but the final rating (for now) I give is strongly based on enjoyment. Sometimes, though occasionally, although I liked the plot of an anime series, I'll still score it low because of the enjoyment it gives me. So it's like enjoyment takes up maybe 50% of the scoring. Grimgar happens to not have much plot, but I think it (currently) is doing this 'representation of how life works' really well. Also, it has great soundtracks. Despite that the pacing is very slow, I enjoy the more or less relaxing mood. The art and especially the art of the scenery are really brilliant and special. That's why I scored it a 10 out of 10.
I'm not sure whether you agree with me or not but that's how I tend to rate the anime series I watch. It's like a habit-thing.
Oh, and don't misunderstand, I didn't give much importance to the fact that he possibly liked Nadeko. Grimgar was the original reason why I came to his profile, and I was ready to ironically shitpost him :^) but I've seen that we actually had a similar taste and decided to say hi since I was curious about his rating on Madoka movies, totally ignoring the original reason I came to his profile. Did you also find csws through his review? I feel like we're somehow badmouthing him now lol.
Nadeko is really well written, I've met a few people similar to her in real life, and she quite resembles them. I can't stand them in the same way, Nadeko reminded me of them.
P.S I've read the second article, and some parts of the the first one.
Because random FR is random. xD
Oh, I see... your profile picture didn't say that. (At least not until here:
nice to meet you too :3
