I think I like a lot of different genres as long as the anime is good. I don't mind romance, action, adventure, superpower, drama, horror or anything else. I like any anime that is creative, original or subverts my expectations. I also don't mind a generic plot that is done in an entertaining or original way.
I hate content that is sexually explicit for no reason. I hate repetitive cliches and tropes. I put a lot of emphasis on plot and characters so I am biased against anything that fails in those departments. I hate isekai not as a rule, but because it generally contains everything I hate (tropes, needless fanservice, terrible plots and characters).
The way I rate stuff is generally as follows: 5 is the dead center average, meaning I don't hate it but also don't like it. I am biased because nobody can really hate what they like or like what they hate. It's also near impossible to rate your enjoyment based on things you do not experience.
Rating Guide (generally, some exceptions exist)
10 - Perfect. Wouldn't know what to change. Sometimes I do know what to change but there was something so outstanding that it makes up for it.
9 - Original, creative and entertaining. Slight issues. Outstanding in at least one aspect.
8 - Original, creative and entertaining, but either missing an outstanding factor or held back by a few serious problems.
7 - Decent, enjoyable, but nothing crazy.
6 - Somewhat enjoyable, but lacking creativity.
5 - Completely average
4 - Average experience with some slight issues that make it unworthwhile
3 - All around bad experience with some good things.
2 - Absolutely nothing good.
1 - Nothing good, but also takes it further by being outstandingly horrible

But if you're genuinely interested, it's refreshing for me (personally) to see someone so unapologetically committed to their own path, without the need to explain themselves to everyone along the way, or waste energy anytime someone tries to distort their image and reputation, whether they prove to be semi-decent in truth or not. He uses that to his advantage entirely, and I appreciate that approach to the character and his moral ambiguity.
Adaptation, development of self-ambition, and the use of everything at his disposal to get there, despite it all being rooted in a more blunt and realist-driven process of thought, I've simply never been a fan of "Mr Pushover", "Mr Awkwardly Shy", or any of the other Achilles heels that 90% of MCs seem to have, and that's my design.
Postscript, the outro song is the cherry on top, not the main course (despite that being the only revelation you could lead with after reading my review).
They trim a lot of sex jokes though, which the manga did as well, and there's like 1 major running gag that had been removed because of that lol.
