Howdy! I'm pretty on and off with anime so I tend to go inactive for long periods of time. I don't really like giving art numerical scores so instead of numbers I give everything I watch mini-reviews in my tags in my list instead of numbers. If there is a number I watched it too long ago to remember everything about it.

My taste is pretty varied, my favorites range from comedy, to drama to romance to thrillers to action. I think the things that appeal to me the most are a bold willingness to be unapologetically different, a chaotic sense of humor, overcoming suffering and personal shortcoming in profound ways and exploring the ways our relationships with other people changes us.

I like to think my two favorite works of fiction; Neon Genesis Evangelion and The World Ends With You (The game, the anime sucks) capture all 4 of these pretty well.

Also having really good music helps too, I'm a bit of a fledgling composer and I listen entirely too much to anime and video game music. I'm an auditory person so I prefer anime over manga even if anime are definitely subject to poor adaptations.
