Hello, I'm just a guy who likes fiction, and anime is my current obsession. My days as a film buff has shaped how I see anime, so if you like traditional cinema, maybe I could give you some recommendations based off the films you like. Also don't expect me to enjoy trashy shows, as I find them boring.
Ratings
1- Too bad to exist. I do not think I have ever encountered a piece of fiction that has scored this low.
2- Worst of the Worst.
3- Bad; not worth watch at all, not many redeeming qualities.
4- Just below mediocre; can have a lot of redeeming qualities, but too much bad to enjoy.
5- Mediocre; doesn't do anything bad, but also nothing stands out. If a show is so bad it's good it will likely be here, but I have not found many.
6- Good; really enjoyed my time with the show, but not something I would recommend to someone. If it has strong great qualities and also a lot of bad qualities, I will probably put it here.
7- Good; baseline for shows to recommend. Also can be shows that are just okay, but have unique qualities to make it stand out.
8- Great; Shows that everyone should watch, and should be able to enjoy.
9- Excellent; Some of the best shows of all time, even some masterpieces belong in this category.
10- Straight up masterpiece; tends to touch me in some way, but also stuff that is so well made, that it's hard to ignore.
