Film is tricky in context (in abstract it's meaningfully different from anime, but not by toooo much).

I have an incredibly high bar to watch anything like Challengers, for reasons outside the purview of MAL.

But it's not that I doubt your judgment of it as such, and I'm happy to hear more from you at any time.

I don’t have a positive impression of non-animated films in general (they are better deeper into the past for reasons I don’t think we have to get into).

Some examples of films I hold in relatively high regard are The Godfather, The Shining, and The Dark Knight.
