I score the anime and manga I watch/read based on these guidelines:
•Plot - The main goal of the MC and how they're going to achieve it.
•Relevancy - If the story has aspects of events/issues of today's society.
•Character Diversity - How diverse the cast is. Doesn't just focus on the MCs.
•Character Development - How MC character changes from the beginning to the end.
•Plot Armor - If the MC gets what they want just because they are the MC.
•Emotion - How the scenes and character interactions emotionally impacted me.
•Plotholes - If there are any plotholes that are unexplained. Doesn't include things that
are intentionally left unexplained (ie Will be explained in future seasons).
•Entertainment - How much I wanted to continue to watch/read it.
•Art Style / Animation - Automatic 10 because I don't care about the art style
unless it's absolutely horrendous.
•Satisfaction - How satisfying it was as a whole.
Note that the rating of the anime will become harsher as I watch more.
EDIT: I'm thinking about removing the guideline where I can't change the rating I gave. Looking back at the scores I gave, I became unsatisfied knowing that some animes should have gotten a better or worse score. But keeping the scores how it was when I first rated them allows me to see how much my views and opinions have changed over time. So in conclusion, idk lol :P
