I don't need to read the first few volumes quick because like I said before, I was actually pretty far into the manga, way more than where the anime stopped.
But I might read it again from start, to see if I get in the mood this time.

Thank you for the thoughtful message! I'm really happy that others feel similarly about the ending! Also yeah I basically just wrote that entire review for 2 hours if I'm remembering correctly and completely ignored writing an essay. I got the essay done. Eventually. I think. :P

Really loved Bloom Into You adaptation so much more, but I have yet to go back to the manga, maybe out of fear that I will find it the same disappointment I did back then, dunno, the adaptation made a huge impression, it was directly SUPERBLY.

Hello, I actually finished the anime early March and was surprised by how much more engaging than the manga, it was for me.
It was another level of experience, that really should be the MCs way more than the manga ever did.

BiY is more down to heart, yes, and with that, I think the enjoyment is more dependent on if either you like the characters or not, and I ended up liking them much less than Citrus. Besides, take the yuri setting out, and it is not like you haven't seen that kind of topic before, done better.
The cast just needed to be more engaging for me, I couldn't create a connection as easily as I did with Citrus, which makes a whole world of difference.

I haven't yet read the whole manga, so I can't comment much more, but it is not like I m expecting my views to change much.
I have read more than my fair share of yuri already, both manga and even in visual novel form.
Took a long time to write, which is usually the norm now, I don't like to spend much time here on MAL daily writing, something I did too much in the past, which is why the reply is late.

I actually plan to see the anime soon enough, and maybe read the manga from start, see if I will change my mind or not.
