Ah yeah that makes sense, I get busy with school and work myself so I really only watch anime at night and that is what leads to my horrible sleep schedule... but its worth it 0_0
Yeah lmk if u read any of them!
Yeah I get it, def get back into AOT, I don't wanna spoil anything but you are definitely in for quite the ride to say the least. Yeah a friend told me to watch Haikyuu and I was hesitant because of the fandom but I went for it and I'm quite happy I did. I do plan on watching Kuroko no Basket eventually as well, I actually play and follow basketball(nba) irl so I'm surprised I haven't already watched it tbh.
Yeah I honestly had to pause the anime and legit just think about what I was watching when I watched SEL and honestly I'm still quite confused even after reading summaries. Yeah do watch Monster it's absolutely one of my fav anime ever, hmm when you say availability do you mean like you don't have time or you don't know where to watch it cuz I know almost all of the illegal sites like 9anime or w/e should have it, but if you don't use those sites I'm honestly not sure. Yeah I love shounen as well as u can prob tell by my favorites if you give me good fight scenes and awesome music I could honestly care less for the story, but I also have come to love some SOL and Romance as well although I should watch more. Oh in terms of films I honestly just watch w/e the most popular films that are coming to the theatre with my family usually, although I sadly haven't been able to go to the theatre with the pandemic but when its over I def wanna go back. I actually got the chance to watch the 2nd MHA Movie in the theatre and to say the least I was just blown away by the animation and music and I mean seeing it in on the big screen is just... I can't simply put it into words.
Yeah agreed, a friend recommended it to me and I honestly was really surprised of how good it ended up being. Yeah that would make sense goodnight punpun can honestly change how u view life and stuff so it's just crazy,,, but if you are just getting into manga maybe go for something more lighthearted yeah. I haven't heard of those 2 but ik Junji Ito ofc but lmk how u like them.
Also if you're interested here's a few good short reads in terms of manga:
https://myanimelist.net/manga/102165/Tokidoki This is a oneshot but it really is beautiful and I recommend taking your time when reading it and don't just rush through it that goes for the next one as well.
https://myanimelist.net/manga/17465/Omoide_Emanon Again a short one but I found this one to be really interesting as well it's one of those you can't simply just put into words the message or something like that lol.
https://myanimelist.net/manga/125076/Juujika_no_Rokunin This is one is actually still getting published but it's one that I'm quite interested in... it's really dark and a bit hard to read at sometimes but if you wanna give it chance just read the 1st chapter and you will get the idea quickly.
Sorry for all the recommendations lmfao but this is prob the extent to my manga knowledge tbh.
Might as well just mention what I'm watching rn so here ya go... In terms of seasonals: Black Clover, dr. stone s2, higuaashi, horimiya, JJK, Redo of healer(ew), 7ds, AOT(amazing), Re:zero s2 p2, and TPN s2. Im also watching Haikyuu as my main show and I'm enjoying it a lot and it might even end up being one of my fav anime. Lmk if u have watched or are watching any of these ^^^^
Yeah agreed, other then videogames with all the covid and stuff I can't really go outside and like play basketball or go to out to eat with friends and stuff so its basically videogames and anime for me. Tbh I can't say I've even heard of any of those you mentioned other then SEL which I finished and I will say it was really interesting but also really confusing, I think I prefer for more simple minded anime then that, but then again I love shows like Monster so idk.
Yeah lmk when you finish it, I love shorter manga like that which have really deep meaning and can even get ya a bit emotional. I'd recommend giving goodnight punpun a read if you want to properly get into manga, it's a bit longer but it's one of the most interesting things I've ever read and it legit might change you as a person depending on how you view it.
Np! How have you been btw? Life's been a bit weird with all the pandemic stuff tbh.
Watch anything good lately btw? Also I happened to see you are reading Kamisama ga Uso wo Tsuku lmk how you end up liking it as its one of the few manga I've read and I enjoyed it quite a bit

https://myanimelist.net/manga/11734/Watashitachi_no_Shiawase_na_Jikan This one sorta reminded me of The God's Lie not in terms of story or anything but just the simple and short story but it has quite a lot of meaning.
https://myanimelist.net/manga/4133/The_Dress Another one shot but it's bit creepy and has an interesting ending! (prob not as good as the other ones I mentioned)

https://myanimelist.net/manga/100448/Jumyou_wo_Kaitotte_Moratta_Ichinen_ni_Tsuki_Ichimanen_de (another shorter one although this is quite popular, I won't say much about this one since I think you just gotta read it as well
