I saw your Steins;Gate review, and then check your mal list. And I'm not surprised. Your fav animes are action/shounens, Steins;Gate is slow paced anime. I don't see the point posting a review of anime that it's just not for you and then have a problem that it's slow paced/boring, but okay.
Just imagine me writing a review of Naruto and writing that there is too much fights in this anime and I don't like it.
Yes, the manga was published in 1997, the Anime, which I wrote the review on was created in 1999.
Even still, 1997 is mid/late 90's not the early, I haven't read any of the big mangas because they go too far ahead of the anime, I've read certain ones, which I have enjoyed while keeping them up to date with the series itself, just how I prefer to compare each episode to every chapter released.
If you refer back to my review, it does say that I'm only on the lesser episodes, Naruto or bleach when they started had better artwork for starters, I'm up to date on Naruto and I think the artwork is amazing now for it, and Bleach had good artwork from the start, since it was started in 2004, 5 years after OP. If you actually read my whole review, you'd understand.
Also,
I haven't slated the story or the plot in any way, I started watching one piece last year, i got to episode 20 and gave up, pitiful I know. Although, I restarted a new and have currently watched 77 episodes in 5 days? I also juggle university work while watching other shows, and early 90's? It started in 1999 which is the late 90's.
