Psychological and Romance are my favourite genres, then followed by Fantasy, Thriller and Sci-Fi. Slice of Life anime is incredibly boring and I'll only like it if there's some other element to it. I can tolerate Ecchi and Harem but sometimes it just pisses me off; like SoL, I'll only like it if there's something else to it.
I don't really care about the other genres.
I usually rate anime on enjoyment. I'm aware that no anime can be perfect but if I love it so much then it's a 10 from me ;)
Also, I think that the music plays a major role in how great an anime is.

There were memesubs so that kinda helped the anime...
But still that anime was such a let down
I have about 4 on-hold that are like 100 episodes...
I'm leaving those for last
The one is Bleach and I kinda think I'm not going to finish it...
I'm slowly lowering my on-hold list :D
And just when I think I have lower then 90 I find an anime that I've forgotten about...
Then I'm back to 90/91 :|
