I still visit the forums once in the while to chat with members like GrenGoddess, Nevyn, Luv_Inuyasha and other familiar names you may heard of. ^^

Yea this site pretty cool. The reason I joined this site is that it's the only place I seen that has a huge fan base for the manhwa that I read which is called "King of Hell". The manhwa doesn't have to many fans on the other forums that I visited but here I've made a fan club for it and I'm surprised of how many members heard of it and now I have over 100 members that joined it.

There must be something terribly wrong if someone as slow as me has gotten ahead of you. Unacceptable. But yeah, I'm going to have a hard time not giving this show a high score. It's just way too enjoyable to watch. Glad I picked it up instead of just forgetting about it like I do with a lot of shows.

Also, more space for music. Excellent. More shoegaze is definitely good.

One day I just found it on my hard drive. I didn't remember having it... it was just there. Brock works in mysterious ways.
Neverender May 21, 2009 8:31 PM
lmfao, what? it's beautiful

And I'm watching Frostii's. Had no excuse not to watch it since they started subbing it.

Are you into any genre in particular?
Neverender May 21, 2009 5:59 PM
yeah, finally, and it's pretty awesome. Judging from the preview for episode 2, it looks like it's going to get intense

Aww.. now I remember you. So how have you been since the AC shut down?

Yea I have a account on Anaconda's site but I haven't been active much on there though. After the shut down of AC I made my temporary home on Anime-Forums.com for awhile then signed up here and making this my new home. ^^

Yes I have. I've registered on the forums back in 2004 before it was shut down last year sometime. My recent names where Tri-Gon-Jin, Arbiter, and a bunch of crazy usernames. =D

Do I know you from the forums? ^^

Neverender May 18, 2009 12:03 AM
ouch. at least the show was good tho

and yeah haha I don't know how people do that. it's crazy

Usually around $15. Sometimes there are pretty good deals, though. I've gotten a few double LPs for $10 and those records I linked to were $30 total for all four of them.

Glad you liked the Aspidistrafly album. And yeah, I listen to dubstep once in a while but it's one of the few genres I haven't really explored too much.

I just have a cheap Audio-Technica AT-PL50. I might invest in something more expensive eventually, but for now what I have works pretty well. If you do end up buying one, just make sure to get one with a built-in pre-amp that you can turn on or off. I think most have one, but some might not. I don't know.

As for the whole digital vs non-digital deal... I wouldn't really argue either way, but I swear sometimes I hear a significant difference. Listened to Burial's Untrue one night and couldn't believe how good it sounded, so I don't know. Records definitely don't sound worse, that's for sure. It's just a cool experience more than anything, really. Plus, a lot of records these days are amazingly packaged like this one that I just took pictures of last night. Had to link it, because man, Hymn to the Immortal Wind looks amazing.

It is a tricky ass name. I'm listening to that album now, though, and man... so good. You'll definitely like it.

I hear you. All three (Goldmund, Bohren & Der, David Sylvian) are pretty great.

Let me know if that Motoro Faam upload works this time. If not, I'll re-upload tonight and make sure it works.

lol, n/p. My name is pretty weird, I guess, but a little too late to change it probably.

haha don't worry about the long comments. It's not like I don't do it either.

As for WEG albums, here's where I first got mine ages ago. Apparently the links are still working:
http://mintradio.wordpress.com/category/worlds-end-girlfriend/

Not sure if you're crazy about FLAC or not, but if you are, there are a few of his albums up in FLAC on my friend's blog here:
http://holyfuckingshit40000.blogspot.com/

Of course, nothing wrong with supporting the dude a little and buying the albums. Whatever works.

Basically, while we mostly just listened to jazz, he did go over the history and stuff like that a little. The final was mostly on hard-bop/fusion. Very easy and apparently he doesn't even care about how you do, as long as you don't bomb it.

And yeah, both Akira Kosemura and Haruka Nakamura's stuff is great. Haruka Nakamura's Grace is really nice, in particular. And as far as recommendations for that kind of music goes... it just so happens that I was planning on uploading a really great album tomorrow by Aspidistrafly that's pretty similar to their stuff. There are a lot of japanese ambient artists that make some good music besides them, but no names coming to me atm lol. Message to Bears, Helios, Eluvium and A Lily are a few good non-japanese artists that make similar music. You might have already seen Message to Bears and Eluvium on my blog, idk.

Regarding the Motoro Faam upload... no one said anything about the V0 link not working (I assume that's the one you're talking about). How long ago did you try it? I'll try downloading it myself tonight and, if necessary, I'll re-upload it.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
