Very nice! Rain is great. It’s winter and snow here, but the temperature’s over 0 C, and even though there’s still a lot of snow on the ground we’ve already encountered several mosquitoes

Also, this is out of nowhere but I'm broken after the latest Hanako-kun chapter and I have to talk about it ;_; Not to spoil but there's a small character twist that made me change my entire opinion on a character I really liked haha

Thank you sm!! Worst case I will totally go another time, so if there’s anything i won’t be able to do now I will do later. But there are many things we’re doing now that i probably won’t be able to do outside of a school trip, like the visiting Japanese schools thing and stuff, so I’m gonna try and do all those things that are a one in a lifetime chance, even if they’re small things
I will tell you all about it after the trip fr!!

But that really sounds fun. If I were to go to New York my first priority would probably be to watch a broadway show hahah
One thing I’m looking forward to is the Japan trip in March that my school is arranging. My friends and everyone else are basically talking about it everyday, about what we’re gonna do there, how fun it’ll be, planning small things like what we’re gonna eat and what places we’d like to see. A couple of the classes are even going to Japanese schools to talk with students, which i’m gonna try and join if i’m allowed hahah. My class is one of them but I wanna join the other one too
I also hope to go to the Pokémon Center, maybe Sanrio land, the ghibli museum, the universal studios theme park, I look really forward to trying real japanese ramen, desserts and maybe things i’ve never tried like squid and stuff. I’m very excited!

It’s going very well! I’m learning so much everyday and i’ve found ways to remember words better! i’ve mostly learned more words, but also built more of an understanding of the language and writing system in general! even kanji have become easier for me now since i’ve written kanji so much. the thing i’m struggling the most with is grammar, which japanese is known for being complicated with. at this point i’m at the same level as most japanese people are with english; i understand when someone says words, or understand certain words in a sentence, but i freak out when someone speaks in full sentences hahah

I’ve had a few people getting frustrated with me replying late to messages so i’m specifically gonna try and get better at replying faster, annd anlso hopefully do things earlier in general. Also i’m gonna try and study Japanese every day. I’ve gotten a lot more motivation and gotten better while i’ve been at school so I’d like to keep that flame going into the new year.

And happy new years, my friend!!! How did you spend your time in December? And how was your new years? I hope your upcoming year is one to remember. Do you have any other goals for the year?
I’ve had a very good year and hope it continues into this next one. I had a very nice december, and even though i didn’t like leaving school for christmas, I was happy to spend some time with my family again. i had missed my dog for a while too after having watched a sad dog movie at school hahaha

I'm still doing great, and I've made a lot of new friends in the last few weeks! we watch anime, play badminton, play games, go on walks and stuff. I'm very happy that I'm finally able to do things and activities and stuff after having spent most of summer break restless in my room :')
