I enjoy every anime I watch unless I get bored.
Re:Zero
This anime holds a special place in my heart. It is one of the first animes I watched. I was introduced to this anime by my friend, and to this day It Is by far my favorite series. Often, main characters in isekai are depicted as almost flawless, smart, powerful with a strong sense of values. Subaru is none of that at the beginning of the story. Subaru's development from being a powerless and heavily flawed individual in a complex world, the sheer loneliness of his experience, and the sense of despair and triumph are all reasons I love this show. Subaru is relatable, weak and human just like us, but even then he strides for a better outcome no matter what and does everything in his power to achieve that outcome without nobody noticing his efforts, pain and dread he had to go through. He never gives up and I admire that
Favorite Romance
The dangers in my heart. When I initially began watching this, I anticipated the typical emo boy and popular girl scenario, but I couldn't have been more mistaken. They've truly captured my heart. From initially finding Kyotaro a bit irksome to cheering for him like a proud father, my feelings have taken a complete turn. The level of adorableness in this show is unparalleled; it's so charming it feels like it could make my heart burst with sweetness. While watching, I experienced waves of happiness, joy, and even a touch of melancholy. This show has a grip on my heart like no other, leaving me smiling, tearing up, and giggling like some 13 year old middle school girl. MC has all the reasons to be overwhelmed with insecurities yet pushes through them is something I admire and the fact he isnt dense and picks up on hints. Dangers in my heart left by creating a hole in my heart.

However, is it not true though? Everyone attacks the scores without asking why or understanding the reasoning. I will give you credit though because you did ask me why.
That being said subjectively I can like something but objectively it can be bad.
Frieren is not the most liked show, it's probably the most liked show from last season but not overall and there is no way to actually determine that. I'm simply trolling by putting it as my favorite or setting it as my profile picture.
Berserk and Death Note had many flaws so I rated it based on my metric. For example if Berserk had better pacing, actually explained some of the mysteries etc. or actually concluded then it could've gotten a much higher score. Death Note on the other hand biggest issue was the cat and mouse game between Light and L which was severely underwhelming after some time, then after L died the whole show went downhill. Not because of bad writing but rather because that second arc wasn't as good as the first.
The rating of shows is very hard to explain because most people rate based on enjoyment on this site while I take a more objective approach.
That being said why do you think Frieren deserves to be rated higher?
And yes you did say something to me, in fact you asked me a question. I'm simply now responding to it.
That being said, if you could change one anime score on my list to a higher score then what would it be? And what would be the reasons for saying that this particular anime is good?
