Microdroid, I will meet you at the usual bus stop at around 10:50am. Make sure you're there this time!
Hiruma55, we'll text you once the train arrives at our station so you can hop on once it reaches yours. If we're getting it at 11:30am you don't really want to arrive at your station any later than that.
Make sure you both get a return ticket, as it is cheaper than a single and we won't need an open return. A few months ago the ticket cost £12, so hopefully it is still around the same price. A day travelcard will then be around (I assume) £7. So make sure you have £20 set aside for travel, possibly an extra £5 just in case.
I'll write down some simple directions to our usual destinations, though hopefully they won't be needed and hopefully we won't get lost knowing we've been there before. Anywhere else you guys wanna go let me know and I'll figure out how we're going to get there and such.
I think that is pretty much it. Long message, as usual. Now let's just hope I don't forget the cinema tickets. Please one of you remind me on the promised day (before we depart)! Well then chaps, Tuesday it is. Any questions then let me know, I will silence your queries. But in the words of Samuel L. Jackson... If my answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions.
Tokyo Sonata did feel very real, although that last part with the kidnapping and such was totally weird haha. Hit me like a brick in the face, didn't see it coming at all. I thought it was a bit of a silly direction to take the film in at first but it all came together in the end. I'm sure you'll love All About Lily Chou-Chou, let me know what you think of it after you've seen it!
Oh and Merry Christmas again man! Hope you had a good'un!
Oh and by the way... I watched Tokyo Sonata! It was AMAZING! Cheers for the recommendation man, it was such a wonderful film and the final sequence is just magical. It actually reminded me of All About Lily Chou-Chou (the film I recommended you) since there is also a very emotional use of Claude Debussy's music in there as well. I love Japanese films so much... they're just in a realm of their own.
There are loads of subtitle files here. Just scroll over each one and it'll tell you the name of the .srt file. Just download the one thats titled the same as the movie you downloaded. If you've changed the title of the movie or if all of them are titled differently to what you have, just download the one you think it might be and once you have extracted the subtitle file, rename it exactly the same as the movie file then place both files together in the same directory. Opening the movie file in VLC should then open the subtitle file as well. If not, you can always open it manually. There are lots of subtitle files there, so surely it has to be one of them. You should have just brought the film at the Expo, it was only £15 for the entire trilogy. :P
If you want me to go into detail...
I could say so much more but I am sure you're going to go and see this film anyway, so you'll see how bad it is yourself. Be warned though, people have said they've walked out on Avatar when they were able to sit through Dragonball: Evolution. Yes, it is that bad. It's an insult to the series and M. Night should be ashamed.
By the way, when watching that Avatar clip turn your volume up at 0:42. Just after whatshisface says my name is Ahng you can hear someone in the audience correct the movie by saying Aang how it should be pronounced. What a legend. You can also hear the audience laughing at how bad it is at 1:25.
